Milestones...

A friend of mine's DD is only 2 weeks younger than the twins and she's rolling over already! My babies hate tummy time and scream the entire time LOL... what exciting things is everyone's LO's doing? How many ounces are they eating? Mine are between 3-4 ounces at roughly every 2.5-3 hours. I tried a titch of rice cereal in their formula during one feeding last night just to see how they did, as far as no reactions to upset tummies or anything. It was only a 1/2 tsp, very small amount. Def not enough to make a difference in how much or how often they ate. They lift their heads fairly good - still bobbley LOL... and growing tight of their 0-3 months onsies already.

Rolling over? OMG! No way - not here. Am I feel horrible and neglectful because I hardly do tummy time with DD!! In fact she is so easy going I throw her in the carrier or stroller and we head out twice a day to take DS on outings (one normally a play date or similar and one to the park near our house to get the dog walked / exercised). I feel like DD hardly gets any attention - but she does sleep a lot so not like there is a lot of demand for my attention yet. Sigh - busy with two (2 year old and 7 week old) - how are you doing it with twins!
DD's head is much less wobbly and she is starting to smile and I have heard a couple of near-coo noises! She is tracking well with her eyes and definitely responding to sounds - tries to find us if we are talking.
We are also outgrowing our 0-3 month clothes.
Breastfed so no idea how much she eats - no bottles yet used (lots of milk in freezer). No plans for solids until 6 months.
All in all - doing really well!

Dont feel bad about tummy time LOL... both the twins HATE it, like I said they scream the entire time DH is like why are you torturing them?! I try to put them on their tummy at least 5 minutes a couple times a day bc I cant stand to hear them crying bloody murder any longer than that. Not even close to rolling over either - when she sent me that video (on my phone), I couldnt believe it. And yes... its a struggle to balance everything from kids to housework, errands and everything else? Forget about it, I barely make time for anything, I have to find time to squeeze in showers even haha

I have been getting a couple of smiles a day, not sure if they're intentional but I'm loving them. We don't do tummy time. I don't see the benefit to making my infant scream. His head is really strong and it's been great holding him and having him look up into my eyes more and more. He's growing tight (length wise) in his 3-6 month stuff. He hasn't even been in them long enough to wear all of them LOL.

ETA: I just reread my response and I was a bit snippy about the tummy time because my dr and I got into it once about tummy time. Not that I'm a tummy time hater LOL. He was pushing me to do it but my kids (with the exception of DD1) have all been spitter uppers and have all hated tummy time, with a passion. Every time I would lay DS on his belly he would vomit. I told doc that when he asked about tummy time and he said just to keep doing it. And then we proceeded to get into an argument about how it could possibly be beneficial to do anything to an innocent infant that resulted in him screaming his head off. He said I should still do at least 5 minutes a day. I switched dr's shortly after that for a variety of reasons but that was the final straw.

We do tummy time when she is calm and can usually get a good 10-15 minutes before she starts getting grumpy. Her legs get a good work out because she loves trying to push herself along. We are getting some smiles tto, mostly unintentional or while she is dreaming but i love them! she is also trying to make more noises and sounds which is awesome to hear. As for clothes, she is still wearing her newborn onesies and only a handful of them are even close to snug. When she was born (42 weeks) we actually had to use preemie diapers she was so small!

We are growth spurting right now, so that has been interesting the past few days! Some gas smiles and Ryin briefly lifted his head during tummy time today. They have very strong necks too and will look up at me or DH when we are holding them. I'm thinking they might be early rollers, because it seems like sometimes they are already trying to do it! We shall see!! We are eating 3 oz every 2.5-3 hours. We probably won't start cereal until 4 months.

Same! Liam gets a lot when he's on our chests, as well! He's always pushing himself up and lifting his head to look at us!

I haven't gotten any smiles that aren't gas related, yet! haha They're still adorable, though!

Forrest's vocabulary has increased to cooing and 'conversation' squawks... and lots more smiles (unintentional mostly but much more frequent).

We do EC and he has gone a week with only one poopy diaper - which was completely my fault since we were visiting a friend in the hospital and I didn;'t give Forrest enough time to poop when we went to the bathroom. I'm really thrilled with the lack of poopy diapers lately! WOOHOO! Between that and our 2yo (still in diapers and using the bathroom about 30% of the time), I think we are making some progress towards fewer bathroom trips...

Forrest frequently does half-rolls - from back to side. Much like my other three, he hates being on his belly.
