MS and Prenatal Vitamins

For some reason this morning, I got sick for the FIRST time! It's just been nausea for the past 11 weeks so it surprised me! I was just after eating breakfast and taking my prenatal vitamin. Would anyone take another prenatal vitamin? It was literally 15 minutes after I had taken it.

I would take another vitamin tonight, but not right now. I always take mine at night right before bed because I am less likely to throw it up.

Oh that's a good idea! It's easier for me to remember to take them in the morning with breakfast!

I haven't had any morning sickness with this LO (only a bit of nausea if I wait to long between meals) but now, at almost the end of the 1st trimester I get gag reflexes for no reason! Last night I put my vitamins in my mouth and had one. If I brush my bottom left back teeth to long I have one, sometimes I'll just be standing around and I have one. Baby seems hell bent on making me throw up at least once before we hit 2nd trimester.

Oh! The gagging is BAD for me! It comes out of no where, at any time of the day and/or night! I have been feeling better overall, though, so I'm hoping it's starting to fade, permanently! Fingers are crossed!

I've always taken mine at night, too... when I get ready for bed (brush my teeth, wash my face, take my vitamin...it's all in the routine). It's the only way I could possibly have tkaen it throughout the first tri without throwing up...

I don’t know about you guys, but I find that any prenatal vitamins is what causes the nausea. If I take them before going to bed, and simply eat a decent breakfast, I have no issues.
