I'm going to try and get a QOTD going but I probably won't do it on weekends.
Do you have a favorite hobby you do or sport you play?
Erm, I'm a big nerd. I play online games. Though, admittedly, not as much as I used to. I love to tinker around with photoshop and digital art. I have been trying my hand at a little photography with a digital SLR camera I bought but not as much as I'd like!
Siandra, good hobby!
Here is one I took of my son in 2011.
Volleyball is my sport. I didn't play last year because I had just had my daughter when our season started. This year I didn't get to play either because we were in the middle of selling our house and it wouldn't be fair to my team to not be able to show up for all the games. It makes me really really sad to be missing 2 seasons. I've been playing since I was in the 6th grade and that was a LONG time ago. Now I'm loving watching my oldest play volleyball and "coaching" her on the side (but I really miss it for myself!).
What a neat photo! Thanks for sharing!
OK, I'm almost 70...but this winter my activity has been the treadmill. It has been muddy and cold and icy, so indoors has been the way to go for me! I've never been into sports of any kind except for some hiking in the mountains, woods and parks. I've been an observer though of our kids' sports events...from swimming to gymnastics to figure skating and hockey to tennis and soccer too. I tried to participate in canoeing a bit too but it killed my back.
Before I had kids I used to play tennis and I liked to make jewlery. Since having kids I think my only hobby is whatever they do!
Road tripping! DH and I love nothing more than waking up, pulling out our atlas and saying "where are we going today?!" and I can't wait to have a little one to come with us. I did lots of traveling with my parents when I was little/growing up and I really want to do that with our kids. Other than that, I read, sketch and cook.
DH and I LOVE our drives, as well!
I'm not a big sports person - I'm a little laid back! I enjoy reading, movies, gym, shopping, etc.! haha I was supposed to learn how to snowboard with DH this winter; but, because of obvious reasons, that won't be happening any time soon! I really would love to learn, though, to be able to do something outdoors with DH!
I'm a big pianist, it's where I can go and just get away. DS is starting to show interest in it too, and I can't wait till he's a little older so I can start teaching him. I'm also a huge football person. Of course my HS wouldn't let me play, but I played intermural flag in college, and I play (played) almost every weekend with DH, his brothers and friends. Obviously I had to give it up now, but I will be back next year! Tomorrow (Super Bowl Sunday) is the 2nd biggest day in our house (Besides Christmas). It's a huge all day event with lots of food and people. Good times.
