anyone have there own doppler?

I have a doppler and I'm 12 weeks and I've been using it every couple of days and cannot find the babys heartbeat... you think its still too early?

I've never had one or wanted one really. I think it would make me crazy more than the reassurance haha. I don't think 12 weeks is too early. Maybe you just need to get the technique down. Remember, your uterus is still in your pelvic cavity, so I guess make sure you're not looking on your stomach for a hb haha

I have had mine for 2 weeks now and just recently found the heartbeat! It is soo hard at first but then when you find it you know it is it because it is in the 150s to 180s ususally. I have a Sonoline B,

here is a video I took of mine

I bought one and used it at least once weekly with my last pregnancy. I will be using it again with this one when I'm far enough along. 12 weeks is good sized but those little babies love to move!

I have a angels fetal heart beat display.
I believe I have found the heartbeat but still not sure.

When I asked the midwife about it and the ultrasound lady they said they won't even try and find it til 16 weeks as its different for everyone and the majority can't find it and its very stressful.
So don't worry if you can't find it....
Not everyone is still so small and it depends on the position. Smile
