anyone know why left hand is constantly tingling?

For the past few days my left hand has that tingly feeling you know if your foot falls asleep and then you get that tingly feeling.. its in my left and and fingers and wont go away whatso ever.. could it be because the baby is transverse? i had an ultrasound the other day and the baby is sideways instead of up up and down? I have an appt end of week so hopefully dr can figure it out.... its just annoying me that it wont go away.

Aww I'm sorry!!! Sad Isn't that annoying???
The same thing's happening to me, only it's my right hand....!

I read that it's basically pregnancy/swelling induced carpal tunnel, which relieved me.. I was worried about pre-eclampsia or toxemia or something drastic, hehe..

I've had carpal tunnel problems before in the past because of my data entry job (yeah.. I guess sitting and typing for 9 months out of the year for 6 years in a row can do that to you lol)... Evidently, pregnancy exacerbates the issue if you have even slight swelling in your wrists/hands, or if you sleep with your wrists/hands curled up... which I do. Sad

Just had my midwife appt and baby is head down so that's not it for me, anyway...
those carpal tunnel wrist splints are supposed to help but I'm stuck in podunksville, haha, and don't want to shell out the $$$ for the ones that the little stores here are selling.

If i keep my wrists/arms straight and kind of propped up on pillows thru the night, things seem to be a little better.. plus if I chug a bunch of water thru the day.. *sigh* Hopefully it'll go away after baby comes because it's super annoying!!!

Just wanted to update - went and finally bought a wrist splint and wore it last night... sweet relief!! Smile It helped a lot - still tingly this morning but none of the pain that I'd been feeling thru the night. Smile
Hope you can get your pain/tingling/numbness under control soon!!! :bigarmhug:
