    Default Brown discharge :(

I am 8 weeks 1 day pregnant today. I take vaginal suppositories 2 a day. I have been traveling and just got back last night so no sex. Today, 30 min ago I felt a gush, which I normally feel when the suppositories comes out (TMI I am sorry) but I always check and this time it was mixed with brown discharge/blood. I am so nervous I am M/C . I called my doc and they will see me in 1 hour. Did anyone else have this? I am terrified!!

I hope everything is okay. I had a tiny bit of spotting with my second baby off and on. It was usually after I walked a lot or was on my feet a lot. He turns five in a couple of weeks.

I hope that everything checked out ok. I have heard that suppositories sometimes cause irritation, and as a result some bleeding. It is also positive that is brown signaling that it is old blood.

Just got back. They don't know what caused the bleeding but since she think it was due to my cervix being X (don't remember name) so that it is easier for it to bleed now during pregnancy. Fragile? Nothing to worry about. Ultrasound measured just one time, 8 weeks 1 day and heart rate was 176

The cervix is more sensitive due to increased blood flow. I'm glad everything checked out just fine!

So glad to hear everything was ok! I was going to say I had to take some medication vaginally with my last pregnancy and it also caused the same bleeding. Thankfully it was brown so no worries and baby was fine!

Did they say your cervix was friable?? That's the word they used with me in my first pregnancy. Kinda same thing as fragile
My cervix is always was very sensitive & bleeds easily - pregnant or not!
Glad to hear everything is OK!

But I am not sure if that is just she said "it may be" becaus when I read about it I am not sure it fit. She did a vaginal ultrasound and there was no blood on the thing nor did I bleed afterwards. So maybe it is just one of those "no other reason so we say friable"?
