I really hope I make it to my due date!! (xp)

we finally moved into our new place on Friday! It's great, the neighbors are awesome and the kids are having a blast. People have been helping us get settled, but there are still a lot of boxes and still a lot of work. I am going to post a video tour of the place on youtube for my family abroad, so I'll post a link here when I do. It's a cute house!

So I have been having BH since about 25 weeks, - no biggie, 5th baby, lots going on, yadda yadda... but for the past week, they have been getting more noticeable and more difficult to ignore. Not consistent or anything, but the interesting thing is that it's not only when I've been on my feet for a while, it will happen when I'm lying in bed too.

I'm watching my hydration, drinking RRL and nettles, taking motherwort tincture when I feel I need it (my bottle of rescue remedy just broke!! but one of my neighbors makes bach remedies, so I'm going to give her a call today!) I'm keeping it together and taking it as easy as I can... but I really really really don't want this to turn into labor! Especially for the next 2 weeks so I don't have to go to the hospital - but even after that, I really want to make it at least to the week of my due date!!! (watch me go to 42 weeks now!! you know what? I wouldn't even mind!!)

Anyway, just venting and breathing and unpacking and stuff (and happy that we finally got our phone and internet set up just now!)

Yay to completing the move.
Must be a relief!!!
Hope the unpacking goes quick and easily!!!

I seem to get what I think are contractions in df's car or in bed at night.
Nearly always in the lower back.
Really infrequent but ouchy all the same.
Plus I am getting ninja on nerves as my right groin/hip joint bloody hurts at times!!! I actually cry out from that!!
My midwife has said not to be surprised if I am earlier than 38 weeks... Not that it will happen for sure but....
Hoping I'll bake til my c section!!
Hoping you bake til you're ready too!!!!!
Hugs

Oh yay!! Glad you got all moved in.. I hope the unpacking goes smoothly for you!! Smile And I hope little one stays snug and gets to "cook" a little bit longer Smile

So I know the RRL helps tone the uterus, and I'm guessing nettles support the female system, too? What does the motherwort do? Same thing? Smile

Hehe, Liz, your ninja's gonna pull some ninja moves on you and sneak up when you're not expecting him, hmmmmm? Wink

RRL tones the uterus and provides easily absorbed forms of calcium and vitamins A, C, and E. Nettles have all those vits and minerals plus an excellent source of vit K, it's also very high in iron. motherwort is a miracle herb that actually relieves pain and stress! imagine marijuana without the side effects - but specifically synergistic with the female system. It's awesome!! get yourself some!!
