Men are wimps?! :)

Now I have updated my software I seem to have access again so I can post a bit more.

I have quite a funny story!!!!
Well I think it is!

So since I have been baking my boy I am loving a bath before bed... Just soaking and stroking my ever growing littleun.
Hoping to feel something or see something move.
So far nothing.... But....
On Tuesday I had my diabetes clinic and my lovely midwife had a feel and told me where the boy was lying and let me have a listen to him... Heart beating and punching at the Doppler.
Anyhow... When I was in the bath that nighti was stroking and found a hard lump where I had been told he was... I thought maybe it was a foot or something do I called m up and got him to feel it....
Omg it was sooo funny... He threw his hands in the air ... Squealed like a stuck pig and ran off screaming "I don't like it... It's too weird.... Omg god!!"
And a lot riper language!!!!!
I then realised it was just a bruise lump from my fragmin injections!!!!
But I laughed so hard!!!!!
He is so freaked out by my belly and how my button ?s flattening and getting ready to ping out!!
Anyone else have queasy oh's?

No experience here with DH being that wimpy, but a funny story regardless! Smile

Haha!

I have a little different one though. My dh was in my second c/s with me and had the little camera video rolling. When we looked back the video was completely worthless, he was shaking so bad from being worried and he doesn't like guts, etc. And this was a scheduled c/s, not an emergency. Kind of sweet in a way, I still kept the video. In the first (emergency) c/s, he dropped the camera and broke it. Luckily he got a few pics first. I am getting him a neck strap for the camera this time!!

That's cute!!!!
I know if I have a c/s m will probably pass out.
I have asked him to film the birth and he has told me where I can stick it hahaha!!
He is staying head end!!
He's even trying to talk me out of a water birth as he thinks it gross... Told him its probably less messy than a straight forward legs in stirrups jobbie!!
He just gags!!!
I love it!! He's such a caveman but this is turning him into a pink girls blouse Smile

My DH usually gets super queasy, but he managed to deal with my c/s and natural birth just fine. He's on the 'can't wait to feel it" end of the spectrum when it comes to movement. I can't wait until he gets home from his trip tonight because I started feeling kicks from the outside yesterday.

The story is hilarious!

Hahaha how funny!!

My OH wasn't so obvious about thinks grossing him out and when it came to me giving birth, he just went really quiet and never said a thing! lol.

M is super queasy by my belly button... He likes to rub my tummy and dare himself to touch the ever flattening hole.
Last night I was making it flatter and stretching it a bit to make him squeal.... I have quite deep holes from where I took my piercing out a couple of years back. As I stretched he screamed saying something came out of the hole and was begging me to go away otherwise he'd never touch my belly again... He was gibbering and gagging... I was laughing so hard... Kept trying to make him gag more... It all back fired though as I laughed so much I peed myself... Was grateful I was wearing a pad...
Even peeing I was still laughing which meant I couldn't stop peeling as I crawled up the stairs to get to the loo

that's hilarious! My DH is an EMT, so nothing fazes him - and he was the most super awesome "doula" especially in my last birth! With my DD we were really able to see her moving around from the outside, like soft-shoeing around my belly! That was a little weird, but still very cool.
p.s. I've had 2 water births, they are actually more clean than dry births b/c everything's contained in the pool! esp if you do it in a hospital or birth center, b/c there you don't even need to worry about the clean-up! (my mw and doula both pitched in for my home births, but the main brunt of the work fell to DH :-P)

My DH is in the medical field as well - EMT in years past, currently works in the operating room as a RN, going to school for NP, so nothing fazes him either! I recall from my two other pgs though that he got a little creeped out at first with feeling baby's movements on the outside of my tummy Smile
