    Default Moving on over

My beta was negative. Not surprised with a funeral and being 4000km away from hubby when I O'd (if I actually O'd, they did not give me my progesterone level). Starting prometrium to get things going and waiting for CD 1 so I can have my baseline u/s and then CD 3 I start giving myself needles!

For those who don't know me, I am Margaret and have a 7 year old son, Robbie. We tried for 5 years for a sibling and then found out at 11w6d that the baby had died. That was about 19 months ago. Finally saw my RE at the end of August. All testing has been perfect. At my age I am not a candidate for IVF without donor eggs. If I had 100% guarantee that I would have a baby I would try it. We will try up to 3 IUI cycles and then we are done trying and move on to adoption.

Infertility sucks and I have known about my issues (severe PCOS) since I was 16. Ugh!

Sorry to hear that you've had so many troubles Hopefully this cycle of injectables works out for you and that you get to stay here on the August board! Looking forward to getting to know you better!

I'm Jess, DH and I just got married a couple of months ago but started TTC in May/June. We wanted to get a head start because DH had testicular cancer and we weren't sure how it would affect his fertility. He's fine now, and apparently everything works because we got pregnant in July but had a missed m/c mid-September. We're looking forward to starting fresh this cycle!

Jessica - sorry for your loss. Bailey was a missed m/c. At almost 12 weeks Bailey showed to be 8-9 weeks. I have a niece Jessica who just got married!

I can't sleep, to excited for my baseline u/s in 7 hours. I will then go and pick up my meds and all will be starting!

Baseline u/s went well, not fun having a vaginal u/s with AF and cramping but it is over. Had some blood work, picked up my meds and learned how to give myself the needles. Next u/s is November 13th. IUI is probably on November 20th.

Love that we are pretty much cycle buddies! This whole process seems really surreal, it is so hard to believe that after all the waiting I am now at the point of taking meds.
