No Better Deal

If you haven't checked out Discount Shopping at the Best Deals - NoBetterDeal.com for baby stuff I highly recommended it. Last weekend I was able to order our stroller and carseat off from that site for the same price as just buying the stroller. Today I ordered the swing and the price was $50 cheaper then Amazon. All of the things are way more expensive on at Target too, which is my other go to baby place.

Overall I've saved about $200! Ideally it would be cheaper to buy used, but I went to all of the consignment stores in the area last weekend and I couldn't believe how used everything looked. The carseats and strollers that they were selling were not that much cheaper then what I paid for things off from nowbetterdeal, and they looked older and more beat up then the strollers and carseats that my girls have been using for 5+ years!

The swing that I bought today was the same price as the comparable used swings that I was looking at last weekend. Nobetterdeal's items change daily, and most of their inventory is very limited, but I hope that this helps someone out. Baby stuff is just so expensive. Luckily I've been there done that so I won't be purchasing nearly as much stuff as I thought I needed the first time around.

I checked out the site after you posted about it on the carseat thread. I wasn't sure about the open box thing and where they get their stuff. Plus I am still torn on what to do about the stroller(s). I am glad you posted about being happy with them, I may give it a try if they have a bouncer seat or travel swing.

I have never had any luck with consignment stores myself, I can always do better with clearance or yard sales. I got the baby gym with the piano in excellent condition for $12 (retails for 40-65) at a yard sale.

I agree baby stuff is expensive, and I noticed yesterday that baby clothes are not as cheap as when I had my first 2!

I have actually been nesting lately and feeling a bit panicked at all the small stuff that we got rid of and should have kept. We have no bibs or burb cloths or baby wash cloths and I have yet to buy any diapers. I think it's because my kids have only a few weeks of school left and I know it will be much harder to shop after that. Plus the carseat issues, I think I will feel better if I ever get that figured out.

Anyway, I will take a more serious look at that website. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that their items are returns. The carseat and stroller both came in their original box, packaged normally, with all of their tags, booklets and everything else attached. I was wondering what the manufacture date would be on the carseat and it was from Oct. 12, so not too bad. I can't imagine that they could sell them to you if there was something wrong with them without a disclaimer. Absolutely do what makes you feel comfortable, but from as far as I can tell it should be safe. Smile

Very cool, thanks for the tip Smile
We're on a super limited budget now so craigslist, hand-me-downs, thrift stores and the like are all great options for me!!! Smile
