Default waaay too much running around

The school year ends here on Sunday, this whole week we have been out almost every night and every day for a party or an end of year trip or something. It is just too much! Yesterday, DS1 had his trip, 50 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders hiked to a natural spring and then from there down to the Sea of Galilee, a good 3 hour hike! About 10 parents went with them plus their teachers, and a bunch of us met them at the sea with food, etc... Tue was his birthday on the hebrew calendar, also a fast day commemorating several tragic events in Jewish history, so I decided to bring him cake at their trip since we never get to really celebrate on his actual birthday. I brought all three kids with me, at 1:30pm - the hottest part of the day, to one of the hottest parts of the country - it was miserable!! But he really appreciated it, and then we all got in the water - and then life was soooo much better! I get so cranky from the heat!

Then as soon as we got home, I had to shower DS2 and dress him for his end of year party - a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds starting at 5:30pm!! But they were adorable, so it's ok.

Then tonight was DS1's end of year party - his school is almost an hour away, started at 5pm, Packed all the kids into the car with no a/c and drove down to the party, then I went to our new house to meet a painter and missed the whole party!! and we didn't get home until 8:30...

I had two painful actually real contractions in the car... ugh! but now I'm drinking some wine and then I'll go to sleep. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if my best friend (also my neighbor) actually went into labor tonight too... then I guess I'd have to wait till Sat to rest... I'll catch up eventually!

she's actually been laboring for over a week, so it could really be anytime... I get a birth rush whenever I go to a birth, it's like I'm in a different dimension! But then I'm a complete mess afterwards! So yeah, let's hope we all get some rest before her baby comes! and then I can start focusing on mine!
