This is month 6, so it's not too long, just feels like forever. I didn't think you had implied it wasn't hard, TTC is a PITA for everyone usually. I spoke briefly with a GP about it last week and the only answer I got was 80% of people fall prenant within 12 months, 890% in 2 years, 5% need IVF and 5% don't get pregnant, yeah great help doctor.

When do you ladies start your opk's, as soon as the witch is gone or closer to mid-cycle? I don't know when I O and since I'll be taking clomid this cycle I will start as soon as I'm done with it. Hoping to get some +'s this cycle!!!
I pretty much do them all month if I don't have AF. I never know if/when I O either, so trying to catch it. Good luck with the Clomid Pam!! I hope you get fabulous results!
If you are taking clomid I would start testing about 9 days after starting it. Did your doctor give you any indication of when you should O with the clomid.
I am on CD 9 today. I will and usually begin testing around CD 9ish. I will test once a day until I see a line and then I begin to test 2-3 times a day until I get my surge and the lines disappears!!
Hi all! I have an August baby already (the 16th) but she'd be willing to share, and what's more fun than being 9 months pregnant and living in Florida? ;) THIS is how much I want a baby!!!
I am on a very long cycle (apparently Soy Isoflavones do NOT agree with me) and fear it may be annovulatory, yet I have EWCM today and fluctuating temps, so I'm going with, "It ain't over til the fat lady sings."
IF I ovulated today, my EDD would be 7-31-13 so I would be straddling the months anyway.

Ugh, I temped today, but it was the first time this cycle because the time change has my sleeping all messed up. I lie half awake the last hour, so much for getting an hour extra! The last two months I O'd on CD14, so I'll start OPKing in a few days on CD10.
My cycles are really long, so no. :( I was thinking i should start around day 10, but wasn't sure. Thanks everyone!!! Good luck!Quote:

My issue is the past 2 days i've had watery cm, don't know if its from the HSG.. and all today i've been crampy off and on. My opk was negative for this evening.. so I don't know.. :confused:
About the soy isoflavones....
My cycles were not that long (about 35 days) and I usually do O, but the soy took away my O (and I felt a lot of O pain/twinges in the first 2 weeks.) I was really hopeful I was going to get a strong or early O, but it never happened. I still wouldn't necessarily discourage people from Soy, as for some it works like Clomid, and some it just messed up your cycles. I took UNDER the recommended dosage and honestly I can't help but wonder if I had taken the recommend amount maybe it would've worked like Clomid, but I really don't want to try again because I don't want another annovulatory month! I would just recommend to whomever takes it, make sure you know that it may not work, and may have a more negative effect for you rather than positive....
