I totally understand. I gave it a shot because, how worse could it make my already terrible cycles.. I'm pretty positive I don't O on a regular. What is the recommended dose? I took 120mg the first 3 days and 160mg the last 2.

Your dosage is what I've heard is recommended. I just took 40mg the first 2 days and 80mgs the last 3..... I was scared to take the full amount but maybe if I had, it would've been a better result?
Maybe somehow it did work, and you're just going to O late?? Some ppl on another forum took 80mg on all 5 days and it worked for them, so you never know. On your chart you have several positive opks, is that normal for you? I'm sure that is so frustrating! I would go crazy!
Its crazy because I expect my body to do things, like in my mind, i'm supposed to "feel" the soy working.. And because I don't feel anything I keep thinking it didn't work.. never mind the fact that i'm only on CD11..
I can say, for me the hardest part of TTC is the "Waiting to O" part of it. After you O, that's easy, you just wait.. but before that you have to test, check cm, time BD just right.. oh and actually wonder when you'll O. Very nerve recking! but we'll get it!
No, the several OPKs is NOT normal. I fear I geared up and then just didn't for some reason. I do have mild PCOS, but I have corrected it through proper eating and exercise in the past. Right now I am not doing so good. I have been pigging out for a few weeks.... I still feel ovary twitches all the time. I'm one of those people that can feel stuff going on down there all month long!
I agree "waiting to O" is way tougher than the TWW! As soon as I confirm temp shift, I can stop temping and relax at least!
I hope Soy is helpful for you!
Hi ladies. I'm over here now too. On to cycle 11. I'm on Clomid this cycle and will be for the next 2 if we don't get lucky. DH is going for an SA next week, so hopefully he can be ruled out. My insurance changes in january and will cover infertility treatments, but were keeping our fingers crossed the Clomid will do the trick!
Hi Katey,
Good luck with your clomid and DH's SA. I have infertility coverage and I have to say it helps sooo much! Lots of luck this cycle!
Well CD10 is here. Let the madness with OPK and BD (SMEP) begin! Something is different in a good way this cycle. Way more CM. Hoping it's a good sign. I started Royal Jelly and Maca Root this past weekend, I'm guessing that's the culprit.
Oh and hubs and I have a real date night with a sitter and everything tonight, so hopefully it won't be boring BD lol.
Eileen I keep thinking we are on the same DPO, but then remember we are a day ahead here so I am actually a day behind. Just hit CD10 myself so I guess it's time to tell hubby he can get lucky this week. Too bad he has some long days at work at the moment and this week coincides with me having a higher role at work which looks like it could be very stressful
Katey - good luck with the clomid. I have a bunch of friends that it worked for.
Our RE has "prescribed" BDing every 2-3 days. Apparently you do not want to go over 3 days as the sperm starts to diminish in morphology, he gave us heck for Sean's last SA being 7 days without, I was sick with the flu so it was not happening. The doc said that with waiting longer you get more sperm but not better quality.
I am on CD 13 today....just waiting for that positive OPK. I added B6 this cycle and I noticed more CM this cycle. I know that it's suppose to help lengthen your LP but I did notice more CM!! Good Luck to all!!
