I *guess* I'm here. I had my IUD out on Oct. 25 so I'm waiting to see what my body will do. I've had a bunch of EWCM and yesterdays OPK is getting darker. I'm guessing I may O in the next few days but we will see. I hope so, if nothing else to know that my body is starting to get back on track.

I'm here now too! I won't O for another two weeks or so though, I'm just waiting patiently. Or... Not so patiently.

I should O next Thursday, the only good thing about having cycles like clockwork, exactly two weeks between O and The TWW ending.

It will be a bit before I O...AF has to start first but since I am going to injectables and a trigger shot I will actually know for sure when I O for a change!

It makes it harder to wait each month when you don't get a bfp when your cycles are like clock work, you start to wonder why. Wish me luck, we have a huge lotto draw here tonight so I'm hoping for a win seeing as I bomb on our big horse race today. I rarely gamble or do lotto but these two just coincided, I always join the sweeps for this race and passing up a chance at 100 million dollars is hard, we did a syndicate at work and I was not going to be the only one having to go back to work if we won.

I'm sorry...didn't mean to imply it's not still hard! How long have you been waiting? Maybe it's time to check things out? Good luck with your lotto! Smile

Well, today is CD1 so O will be trigger in 12-13 days Biggrin

OMG, it is happening!

And if I get pregnant I would be due a week before turning 44!

This is month 6, so it's not too long, just feels like forever. I didn't think you had implied it wasn't hard, TTC is a PITA for everyone usually. I spoke briefly with a GP about it last week and the only answer I got was 80% of people fall prenant within 12 months, 890% in 2 years, 5% need IVF and 5% don't get pregnant, yeah great help doctor.

OPK ?
When do you ladies start your opk's, as soon as the witch is gone or closer to mid-cycle? I don't know when I O and since I'll be taking clomid this cycle I will start as soon as I'm done with it. Hoping to get some +'s this cycle!!!

I pretty much do them all month if I don't have AF. I never know if/when I O either, so trying to catch it. Good luck with the Clomid Pam!! I hope you get fabulous results!

If you are taking clomid I would start testing about 9 days after starting it. Did your doctor give you any indication of when you should O with the clomid.

I am on CD 9 today. I will and usually begin testing around CD 9ish. I will test once a day until I see a line and then I begin to test 2-3 times a day until I get my surge and the lines disappears!!

Hi all! I have an August baby already (the 16th) but she'd be willing to share, and what's more fun than being 9 months pregnant and living in Florida? Wink THIS is how much I want a baby!!!

I am on a very long cycle (apparently Soy Isoflavones do NOT agree with me) and fear it may be annovulatory, yet I have EWCM today and fluctuating temps, so I'm going with, "It ain't over til the fat lady sings."

IF I ovulated today, my EDD would be 7-31-13 so I would be straddling the months anyway.

Good to see you all again :icecream:

Ugh, I temped today, but it was the first time this cycle because the time change has my sleeping all messed up. I lie half awake the last hour, so much for getting an hour extra! The last two months I O'd on CD14, so I'll start OPKing in a few days on CD10.

Pam, I had that same question. My cycles are so irregular I have no idea when or if I will O.. I hope the soy gives me a regular cycle..

My issue is the past 2 days i've had watery cm, don't know if its from the HSG.. and all today i've been crampy off and on. My opk was negative for this evening.. so I don't know..

About the soy isoflavones....

My cycles were not that long (about 35 days) and I usually do O, but the soy took away my O (and I felt a lot of O pain/twinges in the first 2 weeks.) I was really hopeful I was going to get a strong or early O, but it never happened. I still wouldn't necessarily discourage people from Soy, as for some it works like Clomid, and some it just messed up your cycles. I took UNDER the recommended dosage and honestly I can't help but wonder if I had taken the recommend amount maybe it would've worked like Clomid, but I really don't want to try again because I don't want another annovulatory month! I would just recommend to whomever takes it, make sure you know that it may not work, and may have a more negative effect for you rather than positive....

I totally understand. I gave it a shot because, how worse could it make my already terrible cycles.. I'm pretty positive I don't O on a regular. What is the recommended dose? I took 120mg the first 3 days and 160mg the last 2.

Your dosage is what I've heard is recommended. I just took 40mg the first 2 days and 80mgs the last 3..... I was scared to take the full amount but maybe if I had, it would've been a better result?

Maybe somehow it did work, and you're just going to O late?? Some ppl on another forum took 80mg on all 5 days and it worked for them, so you never know. On your chart you have several positive opks, is that normal for you? I'm sure that is so frustrating! I would go crazy!

Its crazy because I expect my body to do things, like in my mind, i'm supposed to "feel" the soy working.. And because I don't feel anything I keep thinking it didn't work.. never mind the fact that i'm only on CD11..

I can say, for me the hardest part of TTC is the "Waiting to O" part of it. After you O, that's easy, you just wait.. but before that you have to test, check cm, time BD just right.. oh and actually wonder when you'll O. Very nerve recking! but we'll get it!

No, the several OPKs is NOT normal. I fear I geared up and then just didn't for some reason. I do have mild PCOS, but I have corrected it through proper eating and exercise in the past. Right now I am not doing so good. I have been pigging out for a few weeks.... I still feel ovary twitches all the time. I'm one of those people that can feel stuff going on down there all month long!

I agree "waiting to O" is way tougher than the TWW! As soon as I confirm temp shift, I can stop temping and relax at least!

I hope Soy is helpful for you!

Hi ladies. I'm over here now too. On to cycle 11. I'm on Clomid this cycle and will be for the next 2 if we don't get lucky. DH is going for an SA next week, so hopefully he can be ruled out. My insurance changes in january and will cover infertility treatments, but were keeping our fingers crossed the Clomid will do the trick!

Hi Katey,
Good luck with your clomid and DH's SA. I have infertility coverage and I have to say it helps sooo much! Lots of luck this cycle!

Well CD10 is here. Let the madness with OPK and BD (SMEP) begin! Something is different in a good way this cycle. Way more CM. Hoping it's a good sign. I started Royal Jelly and Maca Root this past weekend, I'm guessing that's the culprit.

Oh and hubs and I have a real date night with a sitter and everything tonight, so hopefully it won't be boring BD lol.

Eileen I keep thinking we are on the same DPO, but then remember we are a day ahead here so I am actually a day behind. Just hit CD10 myself so I guess it's time to tell hubby he can get lucky this week. Too bad he has some long days at work at the moment and this week coincides with me having a higher role at work which looks like it could be very stressful

Katey - good luck with the clomid. I have a bunch of friends that it worked for.

Our RE has "prescribed" BDing every 2-3 days. Apparently you do not want to go over 3 days as the sperm starts to diminish in morphology, he gave us heck for Sean's last SA being 7 days without, I was sick with the flu so it was not happening. The doc said that with waiting longer you get more sperm but not better quality.

I am on CD 13 today....just waiting for that positive OPK. I added B6 this cycle and I noticed more CM this cycle. I know that it's suppose to help lengthen your LP but I did notice more CM!! Good Luck to all!!

That is really interesting. I had no idea waiting longer would give you a lousier quality...

Luteal Phase, or how long you have from the time you ovulate until the time you get AF.

Well I think I am about to O tomorrow. I took the clomid cd 3-7 and tomorrow is cd 16 so thats not bad I guess. Read my post about freaking out thinking I wasnt going to O for more info, I tend to freak first think rationally later. I think ttc is slowly driving me crazy or more crazy than I was anyway. Still no EWCM and that is just bugging the crap outta me. I have gotten pg pretty easily in the past we have had several oopses (that we were overjoyed about). twice it took one month ttc, and once it took 5 mos after my 2nd m/c. With all those times excepting the time after my 2nd loss I had EWCM for at least a day. Even when not ttc on the mini pill earlier this year I had EWCM but since we lost our little Noah in April none. My MW says she has no answers and that its possible to conceive w/o it but I just keep wondering if that is what is taking so long this time. We are using preseed again this cycle as we did last cycle though dh hates it. I am also taking EPO and trying to drink lots of water. That is one thing that is different from past times ttc I did drink more water then I have to make myself do it now. Soo heres to hoping that we catch that egg w/o the aide of EWCM tonight or tomorrow!

Margaret I had no idea about the 2-3 days thing either. I will have to make sure if we dont get pg this cycle that we do that next one. We just do every other day starting around cd 9/10 till the day after O.

I had no idea either. I was doing things like you, every other day around ovulation time. I have learned so much from my RE.

UI didn't know that either, told hubby today as well so hopefully if that is an issue we can fix that, he's also been told he can't drink alcohol and if it doesn't work this month then he will be on zinc next month because I think that is good for swimmwrs, i'm sure i read that somewhere.

My dh doesn't drink much coffee he has one cup a few mornings a week maybe. I did however make him cut down on energy drinks he loves those things. I've not read anything specific about them but they are filled w/ sugar, caffeine, and weird herbs. I have him drinking water at work now which he isn't thrilled about but will do it for a baby. He doesn't drink alcohol hardly at all either maybe one to three drinks on the weekends. I wouldn't think that would inhibit anything. My MW did say to cut down on the hot baths too he is weird for a guy but likes hot baths instead of showers now he has to make them cooler if he wants a bath. He gets his SA this month sometime the paperwork is at reception at my OB office he is very apprehensive about it.

Hey Ladies - CD 14 here.. no signs of O.. Watery cm but no ewcm, no O pains.. No progression of darker lines on my opks either..

How are you all? Do your lines get darker? If so, starting from what day? This is frustrating..

Yikes! I hope not! Hopefully it's just a longer cycle!

I'm still waiting.. I usually O between CD19-21, so I still have another week and a half or so. DH will be out of town right around O time, so we're going to have to BD right before he gets on the plane, LOL!

I got really bad cramps last night and woke up in the middle of the night so crabby that I took a Midol so AF should be here today or tomorrow. It was an annovulatory cycle after all so I will be skipping Soy Isoflavones, thank you very much! I am also going to exercise the entire month, even if it is O day. I will take supplements and try to eat healthy. If I O at my "normal time" I will be due the last week of August. I have an 8/16 child and my bday is 9/5 so we may as well throw another one in the mix. Smile

Patrice, was your OPK ambiguous on the day before yesterday? Or did you not do one that day? That could've defintiely been a + OPK day. You really have to use them 2-3 times a day to definitely catch the + OPK. I usually do a mid-morning and mid-evening one. Some people even surge at the same time of day every cycle. With that big of a temp jump, if you aren't ill, it looks like you may have O'd. Good thing you have been DTD!

I started getting a faint line on my OPK yesterday, this morning my temp was down 0.1 of a degree, but it was a few minutes earlier than usual, I seem to be waking 15 minutes before my alarm recently. O should be Thursday so fingers crossed

I usually O CD14, but I didn't start taking OPK until this morning, which was negative (guess SMEP is out the window) and I've been really bad at temping. Only have 4 days all cycle (with the exception of CD 1). Temp was still lower today so I don't think I missed the egg, but wonder if I missed the surge and might O today or tomorrow. I'll take another OPK tonight and in the morning. I'm kinda crampy today, but it's more all over and not my traditional ovary pain.

My CM is all over the map, wondering if that's the supplements I'm taking. I skipped the pre-seed last night too. I guess I'm taking a more "relaxed" (read: not completely analyzing every single detail like usual) approach this month.

So long-story short, no clue what's going on and it's my own damn fault.

Im on cd 10, took a opk this afternoon (which was negative) but had some cm. then again it may be leftover from this am's bd. I am so bad about tracking cm Sad After trying this long you would think i would have it down. my pre o temps have been higher than normal, but maybe it's just the time of year. Just hoping the clomid gives me a good o and we catch the egg.

That is what happened last cycle. My mom passed away and I had to fly out for the funeral, BDed Saturday night and then O'ed either the Tuesday or Wednesday... oh well. This month I will definitely know when I O. One more week of needles.
