Default What is the age spacing of your kids, would you wish for twins?

My son and daughter are 19 months apart and baby #3 will be almost 4 years apart from my son and 5.5 years apart from my daughter! So I have had the experience of having kids close in age and then be able to experience further apart in age, he he!

I personally would love to have twins because I have secretly always wanted 4 kids! That way everyone would have a buddy! I do have identical twin cousins, but I have heard that it doesn't run in families and doctors still don't know why the egg splits. My dad is one of 10 children and there were no twins either.

Did anyone do IVF or IUI to conceive your baby? Our friends did IVF and put in 3 embryos and they have healthy twin girls!

My girls are a little over 16 months apart. This baby will be almost 4 1/2 years younger than my youngest and almost 6 years younger than my oldest. I'm feeling like this one is a little to spaced out, but I am excited about sharing the pregnancy with my two girls. Plus I came to the realization the other day that when I was pregnant with my youngest my oldest would make messes and it was terrible for me to bend over to try and pick them up. Now they are old enough that I should have to bend down at all!

My kids are 15 12 and 6 and baby number 4 would be 7 years younger than the youngest. I keep starting over. I would love twins. My husband's mother is a fraternal twin. So it is possible. My aunt has identical twins. Who knows

My oldest wil be 7.5 and my youngest will be 5.5 when this one is born. They are 26 months apart which has been great spacing. I am worried about jealousy with the baby getting the attention it needs. But I also think it will be good for my boys to help care for a sibling, especially since we don't have pets.

Twins would be great as far as I am concerned. We have a minivan and two cribs available, and it would mean only one more pregnancy and c-section. We always wanted 4 children. However, for the health of my babies, I do not wish for twins. I have small babies at full term and twins would be even smaller. My biggest baby was just over 5 pounds at birth. I guess there just isn't a lot of room in there. I think I would also struggle with breastfeeding 2 and having to care for my other kids.

This baby is our first. Twins don't run in my husband's family and as I'm adopted with very limited knowledge of my bio family, I have no idea... Of course, I have identical twin sisters, but we're all adopted.. and yeah, identicals aren't genetic anyway lol.

Truthfully, as much as my family would love for us to have twins, I hope very much for just one baby. We're in school now and it would be nice for me to finish out my last year - the last two terms would be with baby in tow, and I know that just wouldn't be feasible with two babies.
I was 15 when my twin sisters arrived home and well remember the huge adjustment, lack of sleep, loads of laundry, dirty bottles accumulating, strange meals, and everything else involved with TWO new babies.. and this was with 4 older siblings to help my parents (we were 19, 15, 13 and 11 @ the time)... still, I'll take what I get, one or two!

We have a lot in common! I think we even got our IUDs out at the same time, he he! I am soo excited about my kids being a part of my pregnancy but it is soo hard not telling them yet because we haven't told the rest of our friends and family yet and I don't think they could keep a secret.

DS and DD are a little over 18 months apart. This little one will be 2.5 years younger than DD. I am looking forward to this spacing and think the early days maybe easier compared to last time. I love that all three will be only 4 years apart though.

I would love twins, but I doubt that it is.

My son is older than my daughter by 2yrs9mo. If I am pregnant, this one will be 3yrs9mo younger than my daughter and 6yrs4mo younger than my son.

I have no preference for the age difference - but the closer together the better! I also would LOVE to have twins. I want 3 children and DH only wants two so twins would be the only way I would get 3!!
