    Default QOTD: January 15

So what do all you ladies do? Do you work outside the home? Inside the home? Stay at home mom? Something else to supplement your income, etc?

I'm a stay at home mom. I have been for ten of my eleven years as a mom, and I love it (most days). over the years I have done babysitting to bring in a little extra money. Currently I watch my cousin's daughter 1-2 times a week. She is 7mo older than my boys, so they all play well. It's the perfect babysitting job because my cousin messages me when she gets her schedule and gives me five days to choose between, so I can look at my schedule and pick what will work for me. It helps me work around my older kids afternoon schedules, and volunteering in their classes as school, etc. and it's enough that it is fun for her to come play, but not too much that I just want my little family without any extras.

I am not currently, but was debating before this pregnancy getting back into selling Story Time Felts. I sold until I went on bedrest with my twins, and then, well, I had twins, so I had other things on my mind, lol. They are a great company supportive of stay at home moms, I think. There is no required sales quota, ever. Back when I did it, it was $35 a year, and then just profit from whatever you sell. I also did conventions with my boss, and those made me some good money quick. I love their products, and have more felt than I could ever need, and still sometimes want more. Lol

I work in Marketing for a small hearing aid retailer. I've been here 4 years and was recently promoted to Supervisor! Very stressful to find out that I'm also pregnant because it was totally unplanned. Luckily my work is very flexible...

    I wish I was a stay-at-home mom....some days. Daycare is so stressful!

I usually work in schools as a teacher assistant. I was a Reading Intervention Teacher but quit recently to be home with the kiddos. Financially it worked out better(spending a lot on gas etc). I love being home with the kids and will plan to work again in the future but probably after the baby is a preschooler. I really enjoy being at home. How I got my nick name "Domestic Diva" LOL
