    Default TWW

    anyone else in the TWW?

I'm 12 DPO...BFN yesterday when I tested but am staying hopeful that it was just too early (although my brain is telling me otherwise). I may end up being in August for 2 cycles if this one doesn't work out.

Anyways, I'll test again Friday unless I have strong AF symptoms, then I won't bother.

Wish I was still in the TWW. Started AF today, and I just placed an order for LH strips and a new thermometer. It'll be here in 2 days, I figured if I'm going to make myself crazy every month, I mine as well be doing it the right way. haha

Not me, but I'll chat with you ladies!

Jordan - you made me giggle about making yourself crazy, but doing it the "right" way!

I'm actually trying to ignore where I am in my cycle hoping that stress is what's keeping me from getting pregnant. Also decided that I better lose some weight. I need to anyway and if I'm going to take a 5-6 month break after this month I might as well get started on losing weight now.

I put in a call to the Nurse who works directly with my OB and she told me that I should start charting and using OPKS to see if I am in fact ovulating. (which I'm pretty sure I am, due to the Ovulation Pain that I feel) If I'm not, they'll want me to come in and run some blood work. She put a note in my chart and the OB will call me tomorrow, so I'll talk to him too. DH was on my case to call, otherwise I probably wouldn't have. It'll be a fun and exciting month, like I have nothing else to do for Thanksgiving week, with my parents coming and DH's parents coming to our house. I get to start OPKS on Wednesday the 27th. haha -

Jordan, sorry about AF arrival Looks like we are on the same CD!

Mel - I think losing weight and not stressing is a great idea!! (yes I realize it's much easier said than done, lol) but it will allow yo to focus on something else.

AFM - well we have moved on to IUI with injectables. Doc thinks maybe I wasn't responding well to Clomid. (last month I had a follice that was 27 mm on CD 13, but no LH surge) I'm honestly a little nervous! 1) Mutiples! 2) Chance of hyper-stimulating & reputuring 3) Create too many eggs and have to cancel the cycle. and he'll also start me on progesterone following the IUI. I'm still doing acupuncture once a week.
    So FX everything goes well

Ok Ladies- I need advice. My Ob called today.

History- Before my m/c i could literally time my periods, they would arrive every 28 days by 10am. not really heavy, only last about 4 days. with the last day being kind of just spotty. This is even after having both of my children.

Fast forward to now, I'm having 8 full days of a heavy bleed, clots, gushes, you name it, and it's between 24-31 days.

The nurse I spoke with yesterday didn't seem too concerned with anything, told me to chart this month, to see if I am in fact ovulating. The doctor on the other hand wants me to come in for blood work, and to talk about options, but he mentioned putting me on birth control to try and help regulate everything.

It'd be nice to get back to where I was, but at the same time I'm on the fence about putting TTC on hold for a few months. I was thinking about telling him, I would chart this month and if it didn't happen, I'd go on BC for a month or 2, if blood work comes back normal. What do you guys think? I was a blubbering idiot on the phone, thinking that we would have to stop for a little while.

Good luck Marie, I'm not sure what the injectables are but hope they work. I have clomid this month plus iui with the trigger shot. I worry about about multiples as I am pretty sure that will have me ruled out on a vbac and they do not deliver multiples in my town at all, I have to go an hour and a half away, but at this stage I figure what will be will be and everything happens for a reason. I had some serious left ovary aches last night and started freaking out about producing too many follicles and that the aches were from over crowding.

Jordan - I think I'd go in for the blood work and chart this month. That way you aren't jumping the gun about being on BC and it gives the OB time to come back with some blood work results.

Marie - fingers crossed for you!

Wendy - don't worry about the birth itself at this point! Just concentrate on the idea that you are going to get pregnant this month!
