    Hi Lexi!

Not much to report today! We went to Wal-Mart last night as I needed to get some more formula for you. Of course they were all out. Luckily, I have 2 more cans at home. Will try again tonight. You were an angel as always.

Came home. Daddy worked last night so it was just us. I gave you a bottle at 7pm and you were out for the count. You woke up at 6:30am ready to go. I think you are caught up on your sleep now! I was in bed right behind you. The last time I looked at the clock was 8:54pm when Daddy called!

    See you soon!

    Love,
    Mommy

    Hi Baby!

You were so good last night! We didn't have to go to Wal-Mart since Daddy went for us! You are now stocked up on formula again!

We went home and played for awhile till you wanted a bottle and then we got a bath and you played in there for awhile then we played some more till it was time for cereal and a bottle and off to bed at 9pm.

Daddy has practice tonight so it will just be us again! Can't wait to see you this afternoon!

    Kisses,
    Mommy

    Morning Lex-Lex,

You woke up kinda grumpy this morning. Guess it was gas or something. After your bottle, you seemed Ok, back to your normal self! YAY!

Didn't do much last night. You watched me make bottles and watched as I cooked dinner. TACOS! You were sitting with us at the table looking at them with big eyes as if to say, "Let me at em'." It was so cute.

Not going to do much tonight expect clean and play with you! Also gotta get a bath too!

See you in a few hours.

    I Love You,
    Mommy

    Hi Lex-Lex,

2 1/2 hours till I pick you up! I can't wait. I miss you lots today. We have all weekend together though. Not sure what we are going todo. I have to call the hospital to see if they will let baby's in there. We might go visit Great Grandpa if it is allowed. He will be coming home Sunday but seeing you will make him feel better lots!

You woke up this morning at 4am! I think you heard daddy get up and it woke you up. You were hungry so I gave you a bottle and layed you back down and fell right back asleep!

I will see you soon Honey Bunny!

    Hi Honey!

It has been a busy weekend and a day! I will start with Saturday.
Didn't do to much during to day. We did go to Wal-Mart to get a few things. We bought Daddy and playstation 2 game since he has been working so hard. We felt that he deserved it. I got you some new toys. (As if you needed them...LOL) We come home and napped until Daddy got home. We went to see Great-Grandpa W. in the hospital and then went to have dinner at Cracker Barrell with Grandma. It was really good. You didn't get to bed untill 11:30 or so. You were also up at 1am. That is because you were off schedule.

Sunday: We were going to got to Aunt Allison's car show for her Delaware Style car club but I knew it was too hot to be out there with you. So we went to Pop-Pops pool instead. Your 1st pool expierence. You loved it. You got in with Daddy 1st since I wanted to take some pictures. Then I took you. You splashed for a bit before I gave you to Honey. I didn't want to keep you in there too long. The sun was really hot that day. Pop-Pop went and bought you a vanilla milkshake much to my dislike. But you loved it. I only let you have a little since you are on Lacto-Free formula. You didn't have a reaction though. THANK GOODNESS!

    Yesterday was not good.
(this is what I posted on the Feb. 2003 board)
I will start from the begining.

Lexi was fine when she woke up yesterday morning as she aways is. Got her ready and myself ready to start our day. Dropped her off to Deenas around 8am and I went to work.

Got a call from Deena around 10:30am. She wanted to for-warn me that Lexi has some small red marks under eye. Wasn't sure what it was. She called me so I wouldn't freak out when I picked her up. I asked her if it was bothering her or anthing like that and D said it didn't seem to bother her. So I told her that I would look at it when I picked her up. She said that was fine.

Get another call around 12:30. It's D. Said the marks are getting redder and are spreading down her cheeks. I didn't have anyone else in the office at the moment so I told her that I would stop by when the girls got back from lunch.

I went over there around 1:15 and looked at her. IT LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS IN A FIGHT AND LOST! I just about flipped out! I didn't know what it was. Thought maybe it was the chlorine from the pool since she was in it for the 1st time on Sunday. Didn't think that was it since no other spot on her body had those marks on it. Then I thought about the milkshake she had also the day before. Didn't look like an allergic reaction though.

Called my pedi and asked if I could bring her in to be checked out. Said that was fine but he was running behind and couldn't guarantee when she would be seen. That was fine with me. Got there around 2:30 and the RN checked her out. She said that she def. needed to see the doc. DUH! So we waited until 4pm to be seen.

Dr. B. said it wasn't an allergic reaction because that would in form of hives. He was leaning towards bruising. WTF! I will never exactly what happened but this is really worrying me.

I called D when I got home to see if she fell on a toy or if one of the kids got in her face. She said that there was nothing out of the ordinary. If that happened, she never cried out. The doc. also said that it could be an infection that causes blood vessels to burst. I don't think that was it. It looks like she got punched in both eyes. The marks are on her eye lids and all.

I took pictures and dated them and everything and I am going to start documenting everything.

And here we are! I am getting ready to call Miss D to see how you are doing. Hope you are OK!

    Love you lots,
    Mommy

    Hi Honey!

I didn't get to spend TOO much time with you last night. We had a flat on the way home from work. You were a trooper though. You sat there patiently while we waited for daddy to come and put the spare on. It was almost 7 when we got home and I had to do your bottles and make dinner. Daddy gave you a bath while I did all that! We sat in the dining room with us and were a good little girl. I gave you your bedtime bottle and that was it.

You are with Aunt Allison today! I didn't trust taking you all that way to go to Miss D's with me while I had a donut on the car. Daddy is getting it all fixed though today!

Not sure what we are going to do tonight! I know some playing with our toys will be involved.

    I love you so much,
    Mommy

    Oh Yea,

The marks on your face are starting to fade a little now! They should be gone in a few days. Hopefully. They are still really noticable but not as red!

    Hi Honey Bunnie!

You had a rough night last night sleeping. You had horrible gas again. You must feel better this morning, you were all smiles for me again!

You had a fun day with Aunt Allison yesterday. She is watching you again on Saturday night cause Daddy and I are going to see Martina McBride at the Shorebirds Stadium. She asked if she could take you to the races that night. I DON'T THINK SO! My 6 month old does not need to be at the races. Maybe next year but not now!

You are sitting up better and better everyday! Hopefully soon, you will be able to sit up unassisted!

    Gotta Run.

    Love you much,
    Mommy

    Goodmorning Sunshine!

Daddy and I took apart your bassinet last night. Well, Daddy took it apart, I just watched and wanted to cry. It has just been sitting there for weeks and you haven't been in it for 2 months now. It was a little depressing.

You slept very light last night. You never woke up but you tossed and turned alot!

We put you in your highchair for the 1st time last night. You had a lot of 1st's last night. You had your 1st cracker, your 1st's sips of water, which you loved and you ate dinner with us at the table instead of on the floor. I tried giving you some more green beans but you wanted a bottle instead. You ate your whole jar yesterday, which surprised me!

I will have to come back later Honey!

    Love You,
    Mommy

Happy 6 months and 1 day Birthday Honey!

You are getting so big! You are starting to sit on your own, with a little help of course. You are nothing but smiles all day for me! My heart wants to explode whenever I look at you. Knowing that you are a part me is so overwhelming sometimes it scares me! But then you smile or laugh and I feel so much better.

You had some cake and ice cream yesterday at Pop-Pop B. house. You really liked it. Daddy and I weren't to keen on the idea of you having cake but you only had a little bit.

You also went swimming again yesterday. We got you an infant floating tube but you are still too small for it. You kept falling forward. So I just held you while you splashed for awhile. You really like the pool!

    Love You,
    Mommy
