I love Nick's snorting and fake crying. That is too cute

I hope that everything goes very smoothly for your family with the move.

Tired. Exhausted. Fatigued. These words describe me well right now. The movers are coming NEXT WEEK. Holy crap, time is flying. We have movers, painters, carpet people and the realtor all coming within a few days of each other. I have my finals this Thursday. I have to take my pets in to get their shots updated. I have to have our medical records sent to us. We have to figure out if we want to buy a new car to drive cross-country or somehow manage to fit 2 adults, 1 baby and 4 pets (plus all our things) in our very small Ford Focus. Gah... too. much. brain. exploding. And somehow through this all, Tim is cool as a cucumber! How does he do it?? Wish I could bottle up that attitude of his.

Our baby boy is doing so well through all of this, which I am glad to report. He doesn't seem to have picked up on my stressed out, freaking out energy which I am really thankful for. Otherwise I'd be feeling guilty as heck. He's such a cutie, he loves to talk to his toys now. He also "yells" at them sometimes for transgressions real and imagined to his baby self. I love him so, so, so much. These are some precious moments, that's for sure. The extended family is going crazy with anticipation! He's going to be so spoiled!

Will yells at his toys too

Hang in there with everything. We've been keeping your family in our prayers. This time will pass and before you know it you'll be in your new place. I don't know if there's anything I can do to help all the way from NC, but if you think of anything just let me know.

Sending you some easy moving vibes~~~~~~~~~
Stay calm, this is all going to be SO WONDERFUL in a very short time. Moving is stressful but when its over you are going to be in a great new place close to family (and perhaps some free babysitting? ) I foresee marvelous things in your near future

*Sniff* Thanks, you guys. It helps to hear these things when I feel like I'm dangling on the brink of moving-induced insanity.

Ahh, such heaven. I have the best husband in the world. Yesterday we went all over the place, trying to get some errands done for before we leave. We took Nick, of course, and were a little nervous about all the time he'd have to be out, but he took it like a champ! Slept the whole time in the car (except for occasionally when he'd join in our conversations with an "aaaa" or "mmmm" of his own ), and smiled and cooed the whole time we were in various stores. We took his stroller because he loves it, so he was happy as a clam. He'd look around at everyone and everything and of course, watch his favorite person in the world, moi. I wonder how long I'll be able to say that?? When does Daddy become his knight in shining armor? I bet it'll be way sooner than I'll ever be ready for.

When we got home, Tim and I were both exhausted. BUT, selflessly putting his needs and feelings aside, this is what my husband did for me - ran out to the grocery store to look for one of my favorite frozen dinners, and since they didn't have it, he MADE it for me at home from his own special recipe. Then, we sat together and read on the couch for a while. He put Nick down for the night, and let me sleep in! I woke up at 9:30 and discovered that he had fed Nick at his 2 AM waking (he sleeps through the night and yet we don't - how is that fair?? ), and had woken up with him at 7 AM when he usually gets up for the day. Then he fed him at 8:30 AM and when I woke up, he had just put him down for his morning nap. How awesome is he?? I feel so very blessed to have a husband like him. He tries so hard to make things easy for me. I love being married to him! We have so much fun together (it amazes me just how much we LAUGH together everyday at anything and everything!), and there is so much love, caring and respect there. I don't know how we got so lucky - I mean, we got married at 18 and 19! We dated for all of 1.5 years and then moved across the country from family as newlyweds trying to make it on our own. Sounds like a recipe for disaster, doesn't it? But that's precisely the reason why I don't laugh when I hear teens say they are dating the love of their life. It just might be true. We've known each other 10 years now, been married for 6, and we're still going strong. In fact, I think our relationship today is so much more loving and stronger than it has ever been. I'm one lucky lady. Excuse the sappiness, but I had to pay tribute.
