Oh Sandy, you are doing so great! I know taking care of a brand new life is so scary b/c they seem fragile and you just want to give them "the world" but I know you are a great loving mother, even if i never met you. Your little pumpkin is growing surrounded by love.
WooHoo for going out! It is crucial to get away, even for an hour! It will make you feel "like there is still you" and it will give you a chance to miss your sweetie pie.
He is gorgeous by the way! i love the EFF!
I'm so excited, I'm participating in the Biggest Loser Challenge for November/December! I really want to lose the baby weight. Believe it or not, I've already lost over 20 lbs since giving birth, but I want to get down below my pre-pregnancy weight, so I've still got a long ways to go. I would like to weigh 120-125 by the time Nick is 6 months old. I think that's a reasonable goal!
So my day out yesterday wasn't as enjoyable as I had imagined! I think I would rather have spent that time here at home with Tim and Nick. I'm such a homebody! I missed them the whole time I was out, and it didn't help that my bottom was hurting the whole time! Should've taken the donut with me. But at least my eyebrows look civilized once again!
I LOVE how Nick's announcements turned out, but unfortunately, I can't figure out how to post them. The lady sent me the proof as a PDF file, so I have to convert it to an image file in order to upload it to Photobucket. I'll have to ask Tim if it's even possible to do that! If not, I'll just scan one once we get them in the mail and post it like that.
Only two more days till MIL gets here! I am so excited!!
Sorry about the day out, I am the same way, even at a year old!
Blah, blah, blah......
Some cute pics:
My baby boy looks so tiny in Mommy's Boppy:
Cute little feets!!
Daddy makes me soooo sleepy!
So as of this morning I weigh 157 lbs! That's 32 more lbs to my goal weight of 125 lbs. I'm giving myself till May 2008 to get there. I can't wait to see how I do with the POBLC!
Tim is out right now picking up MIL! Her flight comes in in less than an hour, but the airport is about 45 minutes away so he had to leave early. I get to give Nick his bath (gulp) and dress him! I've never done that by myself before, so I'm a little nervous. I know I need to start getting used to doing baby things by myself though, because Tim goes back to work on the 19th. So not looking forward to that! I love being able to hand Nick off to him because it really breaks my heart when I have to set him down somewhere and he cries for me.
We switched Nick to Enfamil Lipil ProSobee because he had a mild allergic reaction to Enfamil Lipil with Iron. I'm slightly allergic to cow's milk too, so I figured that's what it was. He's doing much better on the soy stuff. He has a bit of constipation from being switched over, though, so we're doing the Karo syrup thing. It's supposed to work really well, so fingers crossed! If anyone wants a half-full big (26 oz) can of Enfamil Lipil with Iron, please PM me and I'll mail it out to you!
isn't he just the cutest little thing!!!! Is he darker complected? It looks like it in the pics. I love sleeping baby pictures!!!!!!!
He is SO adorable!! You'll be amazed at how well you do the mom thing once dh goes back to work, it is a bit unnerving at first but you'll do awsome.
My twins were on the Prosobee too, worked great! I hope the kyro trick helps
He is so cute!!!! Have a fun visit with MIL!
Blah, blah, blah......
I hope your visit goes great. Another person to love your litte Nick, who....OMG is SO cute! The Boppy pic is precious!
Good that you are getting some practice of caring for him on your own before Tim goes to work. You will do just fine.
Hope Karo syrup works.
Nick is so beautiful. What good parents he has. Good job Sandy.
