    NO.
    I couldn't agree more!

My BFF's Mom was an elementary school teacher and came accross several during her teaching career, however, this one I will always remember.

Abcd (pronounced Aw-b-cdee) Yep! How terrible for that little girl. I think it was a girl. Either way. WTH?

FIL had a student several years ago named Booger. Given name. Seriously.

My biggest annoyance with Nevaeh is the prounciation is wrong for the spelling. People say it with an Ah at the end, when they should be saying eh, because that is how they spelled it. It should be Nevaya or something, which doesn't look any better, but it least the pronunciation would make sense. And then the overkill of it does not help any.

Some of these names are so awful. I feel so sorry for these kids!

I knew a girl in college who was named Boo. That was her real name and not her nickname... She was a debutante too. It's hard to take anyone named Boo seriously.

Nevaeh I think is an ok name. I like the fact it is Heaven backwards but I think the amount of people who got on the band wagon ruined it for the first few who started it.

The completely made up names bug me too. I like different names because I hated being one of many Danielle's when I was growing up but made up names make me scratch my head.

What I don't understand is what my brother has against my son's name. He told me, shortly after DS3's birth, "I don't like the name you chose." and all I could hear is my brother saying (because I know his personality), "Xander is a stupid name". All it is is a shortened form of Alexander. I just went ahead and named him what I was going to call him because it's exhausting for a child to have to keep telling everyone what their nickname is. Every year, I had to tell teachers that I went by "Danny" instead until about 8th grade, when I just gave up. So it made perfect sense to me.

Danielle, I like Xander. Your brother is just being a bone head! lol. When I was pregnant, I liked Ainsley for a boy and my brother flat out told me he would get bullied and be called "Anus" by his classmates. Just shows my brothers sense of humour if you ask me! haha.

The worst names I've heard are Fantasia (9 year old). When she told me her name it took everything in my power not to laugh. I also really dislike the name Olivia.
