I HATE when they spell it totally different than its pronounced. esp when its that awful! I had a David (actual spelling..) that was pronounced Dah-vee.

I know someone that named their child Vladimir Leroy and I had another student who's name was Mahnoor (pronounced Manure)

I used to HATE my name growing up. but it wasn't near as bad as some of these! We seriously spent months agonizing over a name that wouldnt be able to be turned into a mean nickname etc--also checked the initials to make sure they were ok when written out... I don't understand people sometimes when they go to choose a name!

In my profession I have come across a Lesbia. Seriously.

But this is the pronunciation of it in other languages, spelled the same. It's not wrong at all.

I work in a law firm and we come across some pretty interesting and horrible ones. We have a Dogporn. No lie.... Like spelled Dogporn. and a Sunnyrain. Ohh and a Tequillah. awesome right?

I heard some really awful girl names the other day. Stafford. and Mary Mobley. WTF!! the 'mobley' is part of her first name. *shudder*

They Mary Mobley. Comes from the book 'The Help' one of the side charaters kids is named 'Mae Mobley' So yeah... pretty bad
