Thread: Heidi?

What do you think of the name Heidi ?
Any middle name would flow good with it ?

I like it Actually, my brother would've been a Heidi if he'd been a girl... and to this day I periodically call him "Heidi" (usually to bug him though he's never complained.... I get "Marvin" so I figure it's only fair, kwim? LOL)

My favourites would be:

Heidi Elizabeth (would've been his name)
Heidi Margaret (there was a little girl born at church just before him with that name)
Heidi Rose

You know how some people completely ruin names for you because they were such awful people? I went to high school with a girl named Heidi, and she was such a b!tch that she completely ruined the name for me because anytime I think about it, I think of her.

I'm sure I can't be the only one that this happens to. :S

Anyways, I can't really give an unbiased opinion, but as far as names themselves go, it's not bad. I'd never use it, but my opinion is biased.

I think of the book Heidi, but it was one of my favorites as a kid, so that's not a bad thing. It does sound like a little girl name, and not really a woman's name. I try to think of how a name will sound through the different stages of a persons life. That being said, I do like the name. I don't really have any thoughts for a middle name, but I would prefer something with one syllable.

I agree, it is an adorable little girl's name, but it doesn't sound like the name for an adult woman. But it is pretty - maybe it wouldn't matter.

Heidi Renee?

I think Heidi is a fine name, but I don't love it.

I do think it is a cute "match" with Hunter, though.

I love that name! If I didnt know so many I would consider it for my babies! lol
