    Default Petra?

Okay, so I'm less than 3 months postpartum, so another LO is a LONG ways out for us. SO and I had a terrible time agreeing on names for DS, so I'm keeping my eye out for names. We were watching the Australian Open last night on tv, and I was dazzled by Petra Kvitova's name. We actually agreed that it could definitely be the name of a little girl if we ever have one! What do you all think of it?

Very cute Jasmine! I especially like it because it's not common and it has a great meaning... "strong as a rock!"

Thank you! I'm just so thrilled to not have to look forward to another battle

If #2 is a boy, it will likely be a Karl...although SO and I are at total odds over whether to spell it with a K or a C.

I think Petra works for a girl or a boy!

I'm not a fan of it, but I did know a woman with that name who I did not get along with. If you like it, go for it.

I like it, it is different, yet not weird. It does fit with your son's name as well. We used to have a regular poster over here and her name is Petra, and she helped the name to grow on me.

Doesn't it stink how people can "ruin" names for you? Sigh. SO loves Veronica and I just can't do it because that was the name of the "mean girl" in this series of books I loved when I was a tween, The Saddle Club series.

I like Veronica, but only if you replace the "c" with a "k"... I like K's better... since I'm Krystal with a k lol...
