So after much discusssion DH and I have finally agreed on a first name, Willow. I like it a lot, he loves it. So now for a middle name. We've discussed Willow Avery but tonight, while looking through my name book I came across Fay. What about Willow Fay? Too whimsicle? It seems very fairy like. I like them both but to me Willow Fay just seems to flow better than Willow Avery. I haven't talked to DH about it yet as he's out at the moment, but I wanted some opinions.
IMO, I prefer Willow Avery. I think it's very pretty. Fay gives a me a different feeling... BUT, i will say I think it probably depends on your last name too. When I was deciding I would write them our last name and see how it flowed.
i also prefer Willow Avery... i dont know know why but Willow Fay doesnt look right to me... maybe Willow Faye, with the "e"? or Willow Faith?
Last night while talking we came up with 3 options now.
Willow Avery Barnett
Willow Faye Barnett (I like your spelling Brooke)
Willow Robin Barnett
Willow Faye is our least favorite right now, but I'm growing on Robin. I just can't seem to think it if sounds right or not.
I really like Willow Faye (with the e). My second is Willow Avery. I don't really like the flow of Willow Robin.
i like Willow Faye... now that ive had time to consider it longer.. the "e" makes it look better to me and i like the sound.
my problem with Willow Robin is that i consider Robin to be a boys name.. my DH and FIL both have the first name Robin (although DH goes by his middle name)
I like Willow Avery best. Willow Robin doesn't flow as well to me. Willow Faye is okay. :) But Willow is a very pretty name!
I agree with Pamela, Willow Avery is my favorite, although I can't really put my finger on why, I think it has a nice ring to it.
I think we're going to be going with Willow Avery. Thanks for all the opinions.
