I got to wrap a 7 week old today and play with a bali stretch wrap. I only had a MeiTai, RS, and Sleepy when Claire was that size. A local mama borrowed my Bali breeze and sleepy wrap a couple weeks ago to try them out before buying and returned them today. She wanted help wrapping so I got to play with her new wrap and wear her little cutie pie. Not helping my slowly rising baby fever but was fun.
I must say, I'm pretty impressed with myself today... I wore AND nursed Marek in the Ergo while I made dinner! Now that's multi-tasking! Woot!

That is superwoman!!!
Today I went to Target (you'll learn I do this a lot Shauna lol) and wore Aiden on my back in my baby sized Bamberoo SSC. Zoe was in her car seat on my stroller frame.
Tonight I wore Zoe on my back in my Mei Tai Baby again. I picked up Aiden's toys, got the highchair seat out and cleaned it up, threw dinner in the oven, and changed Aiden's diaper twice (ugh).
ETA: Almost forgot! I got the Ergo infant insert at Target today for $12 on clearance! I tried it out at home this afternoon. It's as annoying as I thought it would be for me (remember I'm used to wrapping with wovens which keeps baby very close and there's no extra objects to fiddle with), but Zoe seemed to like it. She fell asleep! I put together a FP infant to toddler rocker while she slept on me (Target clearance for $19!). While I doubt if I'll reach for the Ergo with insert, I'm hoping that my husband will finally wear Zoe since the Ergo is his carrier. I do think it will be great to keep around for the local babywearing group library.
You'll also learn that I pretty much only buy stuff on clearance Shauna. LOL.

Hi! I will introduce myself. I did BW with my first son who had colic, from a very early age. I know it helped him tremendously to keep mommy close. This time I have twins and we haven't started BW too much yet, but we weren't really doing too much other than just enjoying having them home. We have only been united as a family for one night (one had a NICU stay). My husband actually wore ODS sometimes and he is open to it this time around as well. Which is good, I know there are some twin holds but that will get heavy. Anyway, I am a "make your own moby" mom. Will need to go find it soon. I also registered for a second moby and should be having an "after the fact" shower in a few weeks. Until then, I am just enjoying holding my babies and am recovering from a c-section and some complications from pregnancy (which caused my unplanned c-section). We also have two Ergo's for when they are bigger.
Welcome to the thread Tiffany! The twin and triplet moms I know say that BWing just one baby has been helpful for them big time. They don't often wear two because it's just too much, especially when they're small and can't support themselves. Take care of yourself and your recovery and when you feel up to it have fun wearing!
I did a lot of BWing today. This morning I was hoping the big Target toy clearance would start, so I drug us out there. Turns out it was for nothing, but I did get to tandem wear out in public for the first time! Had Zoe in a woven wrap on my front and Aiden in a SSC on my back. When we got home I continued to wear Zoe in the wrap while my son played out in the backyard and ate lunch. This afternoon I ran a couple of quick errands and wore Zoe again but this time in a mei tai. And then while cooking dinner I threw my son up on my back in a ruck sack carry with a woven wrap. Whew it's been quite the BWing day!
Tandem wearing! Awesome. I bet that was a workout!
Look who decided she wanted "on" today.
I don't know who outlasted who. Just as my shoulder joints and neck felt like they were going to be ripped from each other, Evie started wanting down. She was only on about 15 minutes. We took a stinky diaper out to the trash (at the curb) then brought the cans in, and got the mail. We came back in and it wasn't long after that when she wanted down.
Yes, btw, that is a Mobigo toy and sippy cup she has.

Ergo is sold.
I am shipping it today (if it is dry when I need to leave the house).
I wore Evie in my homemade wrap Sunday... twice!. I wore her while I swept and mopped the kitchen in preparation for my 4 year old's birthday party that afternoon.. and then after Gramma left the party, she wanted "on" again. So I tossed her up and wrapped her on while everyone watched (I need plenty of space to do it and so I had to do it in the party room). My dad said "WOAH! That's really cool!" and my BIL said (toward DH) "So, when are you gonna have another."
I am gonna miss all this baby stuff when we are she is REALLY done (nursing and wearing, etc). *sigh*

I've been doing LOTS of wearing recently. I wear Zoe pretty much every time I walk out the front door. She gets worn some in the house when she needs mommy time and I need to get stuff done. Aiden has gone "up up" a few times, but not for very long. He's not as patient as he used to be.
I did recently become the leader for the local BWing group (it died and since we're staying here I want to bring it back to life). I've already helped one mom with wearing and have planned a BWing 101 for next month. I'm a bit nervous because I'm not the best public speaker....tend to talk too fast. lol.
I really don't see myself wearing two.. that is brave. We are definitely utilizing the cradle hold around our place with our homemade moby's. Both hubby and I are getting pretty good at it. An ergo I bought off craigslist still has a faint hint of smoke - wish I had asked about that when I bought it. Its a good thing I don't really think that will work for us until the boys are bigger. Hopefully that will fade some more.
My toe is finally doing well enough that I was able to wear regular boots today so I decided to try wearing C during our grocery run and it went great. Was nice to have her up in the Bamberoo instead of in the cart trying to play with the groceries. Then when we got home I was able to use my new babywearing coat for the first time while we carried groceries in and played with the dog outside! It worked great! Was a little awkward to get off with Claire on my back but I think I'm going to be really glad to have it for cold days.
