The "Ultimate Baby Wrap" (like a moby) no longer in business:

    Daniel about 3 weeks old

Daniel about 4 months old and 15 lbs.

Daniel 6 months and close to 20lbs. I think this was the last time I wore him.

    Evie 2 weeks old

    K'tan:

Wasn't a big fan, but I didn't buy it until Evie was 13 months old. Bought it for more cuddly wearing than the Ergo after her surgery. I wore it 3 times in 2 days and now it's for sale at the consignment store.

Homemade.. just 5.25 yards of Osnaburg fabric tapered on the ends and hemmed. Nothing special.

    Evie 13 months, 20lbs-ish

FCC (wrapped then put her in)

    FCC (wrapped while holding her)

back ruck carry (I think that's what it's called?)

And for kicks.... Daniel 2 years 9.5 months, 40+ lbs... FCC (wrapped while holding him).

And I'm very proud of it. I'm going to become a certified baby wearing instructor so I can share my knowledge safely with others in my area. Super proud.

Last weekend, Evie (now 20.5 months old) brought one of her many baby dolls to me (that she had managed to get in piggy back location) and said "on?" (our word for baby wearing). So, I went and found a clean crib sheet and promptly tied her baby onto her back. She was sooo happy, she wore her around for a good 10 minutes, then asked to put her on the front!

I'm happy that we have this bonding activity.

Ignore the scrappy hair my daughter has.. we were having a lazy day.

Try using a muslin wrap for that as well. My DS gets around with his favourite monkey on his back that way, I tie it kind of like a ring sling
