Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? A part time baby wearer, now he is walking he is not so interested
What's your favorite carrier currently? I don't have many, but my Mei tei because it's the only one I have that is easy to wear at his age
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Done my groceries while nursing. Everytime I stepped foot in the grocery store when DS was little (maybe up to about 4ish months old) he would be starving and demanded food now, even if he had just been fed. I would pop him in a ring sling and nurse while going through the store and then he would fall asleep and I'd often just leave him in there.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? Currently Bwing a ton!
What's your favorite carrier currently? I've been using a baby sized Bamberoo SSC mostly right now. It was the last carrier to enter this house and it still has that great new feeling. I love it for back carries (and the hood is perfect for naps).
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? I don't know how I would have ever made it flying across the country when DS was 4 month without a carrier. I used a mei tai and a ring sling to navigate airports, get through security, and to keep him quiet during the flights. Smile

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? I am a part time baby wear-er. I mostly baby wear when I'm going to be in public and/or walking a lot.
What's your favorite carrier currently? I really love my organic ergo
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Anything in public when DD was less than 4 months old. She was ALWAYS in my moby. It really worked well for that stage.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? part-time BWer. I wear DD at the grocery store and was wearing her during the summer & fall when we went to the playground. It's too cold to go there now. She's learned how to walk so wants to be movile more now. As a baby I wore her in the Moby a ton.
What's your favorite carrier currently? My Olives&Applesauce SSC.
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? gone to the grocery store by myself with a 2 year old and a baby! Smile

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? Part-time BWer, almost none right now since I'm pg and have back issues.
What's your favorite carrier currently? Still exploring and researching. I have a home-made mai tei and home-made ring sling.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? BW and love it!
What's your favorite carrier currently? Right now we live in our ERGO. I have back issues from a car accident when I was in high school and this is the only carrier that doesn't hurt my back now that Olivia is 20+ lbs. When she was little we switched back and forth between the moby, baby bejorn, and the ERGO with the infant insert.
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Um...let me count the ways lol! Cooking, cleaning, shopping, soothing her when she is grumpy, going to fairs, shows, etc.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? Mostly a past BWer at this point, but we still use the Ergo and frame pack occasionally--for hiking or outdoor events, especially.
What's your favorite carrier currently? Ergo for this age. As an infant, it was our Maya Wrap
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Fly (twice in 2 weeks when DD was 2 months old!), eat out all the time, attend events, anything...until she was about 6 months old (and got too heavy for me to do a one-shoulder carry) my DD lived in her Maya Wrap, and was so easy and content to hang out in there, that we could take her anywhere.

And I would just like to add that I am very happy you're getting this board going...I would have really loved to hang out here when I was first trying to figure the BW thing out! Happy to lend my experience to anyone who wants it... Smile

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? Past BWer and hoping to become one again soon.
What's your favorite carrier currently? I used a Bjorn and Moby for the most part with DD. I preferred the Moby for the comfort but the Bjorn for convenience. I'm hoping this time around I find carriers that I can truly love. Smile
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Grocery shopping was so much easier to do while BWing. I hated lugging around her car seat and then the seat took up the whole basket since I never put it up on the cart seat. She was also much happier to be able to see everything.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? Definitely past BWer but wanting to get DD2 back into the habit
What's your favorite carrier currently? I love different ones for different ages
What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Absolutely everything. I had DD2 on a Friday morning during DD1's basketball season. We were back at games by Monday evening and she was snug as a bug in her Moby wrap for every game. I didn't have to worry about her getting upset because of all the noise and buzzing, nor did I have to worry about her getting handled and getting sick. I couldn't have grocery shopped with her and DS had I not been a BWer or cleaned house or cooked supper or functioned when she was little. Once she started rolling over though she got a little hateful about the carrier. I think I should've pushed harder to work through it and experimented with different carriers we could've pushed through it but I didn't.

Are you currently BWing? Or a past BWer? Or hoping to become a BWer? I am a past BWer right now as I am just too pregnant for it to be comfortable. I will be a BWer come Feb though!

What's your favorite carrier currently? I love the Moby and Maya Wrap ring sling for when they are little and Ergo for when they are older.

What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing? Grocery shopping with 2 kids, and just taking care of a newborn and 2 year old at the same time! I don't know how I would have done that without the Moby!

What's your favorite carrier currently? I've only used a bjorn and recently bought an Ergo. I've never gotten comfortable with the Moby and slings and I never bought one to try. I find the Ergo more comfy but DD2 will only stay in it for an hour before she starts fussing. In the Bjorn, she will stay happy until it is time to eat again (3-4hours) which is nice when we are out.

What's something that you're not sure how you would have done it without BWing?
With DD1 I really only used it for grocery shopping because I don't like the car seat on the top of the cart for safety reasons and I don't like it in the cart for space reasons!

I used it to do Wii Step with DD1 during the winter on days we couldn't go for our walk.

I also used it for travelling because a stroller seemed like too much effort and wouldn't fit with our bags in our little Honda Civic Smile

Now with 2 kids, I use it all the time.

During the day DD2 sleeps in the carrier because I don't feel like I have the time to make her go to sleep in her crib. She gets plenty of sleep in the day and when she is awake she is almost always happy. I noticed on days DD1 was at preschool, I didn't BW as much and DD2 was super cranky because she didn't get as much sleep.

We have a single stroller that I use for walking with DD1 and I BW DD2. We do a lot of walking and bus rides.
I like it at the park because I always have her with me but can still walk around the park and play with DD1. If she is in the stroller, she also wakes up if the stroller is stopped for too long but when I BW she sleeps the whole time we are out. I also like it when we go out to Museums and stuff because most of the time strollers are too bulky. We went to the local Children's museum today (me and two kids) and there is no way I could have done it by myself with a stroller because there were way too many people and DD1 moves way too fast.
