Have you ever seen someone BW their pet? Or have you done it yourself? Any thoughts?
A thread on TBW got my laughing about all the different contraptions people have seen pets in! Check these products out:

Okay, that first one is not SO bad, but the doggie bjorn? OMG
People.
(Not to be dismissive of people with small breed dogs who may have a legitimate need to carry them, but that thing looks about as appropriate for the task as putting the poor thing in booties and a bonnet and sticking it in a stroller. Not to mention about as comfortable for both the wearer and the dog as a real Bjorn.)
Apparently somebody said they had seen A CAT in one of those danglers! Eek!
I think the ring sling idea could be great for older small dogs or dogs with medical issues.
We just have one annoying cat who would never put up with being worn.![]()
Yeah, no. I have had pets- cats- who I have loved quite a lot. And while they are very important to me while they are in my life, they are not my "fur babies", nor members of my family, and they do not need to leave the house with me, just about ever. Now, I say that as a cat owner, not a dog lover (I'm really not, I find dogs more and more annoying all the time). I would most definitely roll my eyes if I saw one of these in use in real life.

When we were out walking ast week I saw a lady wearing her dog on a walk, it was a bit weird.
Seriously.
Also, I guess I am just so used to seeing them for babies, but those ring sling pictures give me the creeps too...kind of like those Born Again dolls or something. Like, your pet is great and all, but it is not actually a baby, you know that, right???
The purse type carrier seems fine to me, probably because I would never put a baby in something like that BUT it looks comfortable for the dog. If, you know, you have a dog that needs to be carried around, which is a whole other world of pet ownership I can't speak to![]()
