Okay, this is NOT the proper positioning, best photos ever thread. This is to share those photos of carries that just didn't quite work out or there's seriously something funny going on in the photo.
I wanna see bad wrap jobs, poor positioning before you knew better (or maybe you did ), weird looks your kid is giving, and more! As much as we strive to always be the "perfect" baby wearer, it's just not always going to happen!
(I'm also trying to encourage more picture taking here. )
Hobo mom and baby:
Tooth brush in eye:
Not so comfortable mommy, but happy baby isn't crying:
(do you like how I tried my hardest to put him in proper hip position - he looks ridiculous!)
Ha! Great thread idea! I love the toothbrush
I have one I like to call "Can you breathe in there??":
This was on my birthday--Addy was 6 days old. We were VERY new to BW, obviously, and had gone up the mountain for a picnic and pie (the only birthday outing I could imagine sounding pleasant at 6 days pospartum!) and had brought this dumb sling. We tried and tried, but the best we could do was get her head in the right position (chin not touching chest)...but then she was so deep in the pocket, the fabric would fall over her face. I had to keep holding it open the whole time so that I was sure she wasn't being smothered. Awkward! We pretty much never used this again, other than a couple of quick trips to the store when she was old enough to sit up in a buddha hold in it.
Ooh! Another one. Can you tell how much she loved the Beco?
Here's one of my...uh...exstepmom? attempting to hold her in the ring sling (2 months old). She basically just had it around her neck and bundled around Addy like a blanket, and was just holding her...but I guess it was cool that she tried? Huh.
Ring slings make excellent make shift blankets at least!
And she looks so thrilled to be in that Beco. Ha ha!
Just a reminder that I still suck at wrapping....
(yeah, this was today )
I call this series "hi mom! Just trying to escape!" I'm thinking BCC is NOT a good carry for us!
