My arm is so sore! Ugh.
Yesterday, the kids and I went on a field trip to the oldest hotel in our city which is now a museum. We took the tour. I completely forgot my Ergo at home! It was a scheduled deal with the charter school that DS#1 is in, so I couldn't drive back home and get it, so I was stuck carrying Evie around on my hip and restraining her with my arm... for 1.5 hours straight... up 4 flights of stairs... She wanted down so many times, but it's a really old building full of really old stuff that they don't want you touching!
My arm is KILLING me today.. so sore. We haven't been baby wearing at home so much anymore, so I think I should just keep it in my car for just in case moments.
Just venting about my error. :D

Do you only have an ergo? I have multiple carriers and so I keep by SSC in the car, my linen RS in my diaper bag, and I use a wrap or my MT in the house. Sadly enough I have still had similar mistakes where I ended up someplace without one. Your daughter is 3 months older than mine, don't you hate how much harder it is to hold her now that she knows how to walk? Mine practically tries to crawl down me if I don't have her in a carrier.

I have a homemade wrap, but my shoulders can't handle back carry. It is just barely long enough to do a ruck sack backpack type carry and I feel like it's dislocating my shoulders every time I try and put her on. I can only wear her for about 5 minutes before I have to take her off. She hasn't been wanting to be carried around much lately anyway, but it's useful when out and about at nap time.
