A new carrier?

Anyone heard anything about boba 2G carriers? They are an SSC and I have just found them for a super grat price ($55). I've not heard of them before and it's hard to tell if they are good because the site selling them have them among bjorns and ergos.
Also any reviews on sleepy wraps? They have them on a super sale as well.

I've heard of Boba in general (they advertise in some magazines I read, I think...like Vegetarian Times and Mothering or the LLL magazine...), but I don't know any specifics. Hope somebody will be able to fill you in!

I hope so too, it's an awesome price, but I don't want to waste money if they are no good.

Sleepy Wrap is basically a Moby. They changed the name over to Boba Wrap recently. Basically if you get it, know that you will do absolutely nothing with it till you have a new baby. Great for 15 pounds and under and a forgiving wrap. Will be warmer than your ring sling and mei tai you're used to. Smile

Boba 2G is a good sized carrier, so you should be able to use it easily with Ronin. I can't bring up too much information about the 2G because they have a newer version of the carrier out, but if I remember correctly it's has a bigger body than the Ergo (which would be super helpful at this age).

Yeah I knew the sleepy wrap would be new born only, though if it's for under 15lbs if the next one is a light weight like Ronin I will get close to 8/9 months out of it. The website promotes it from new born to 18 months and I laughed.

The Boba 3g is supposed to be able to be used from newborn according to another review I recevied, but I told them I have others I prefer for the newborn phase. I think the newer version is why they have the 2G so cheap. Why must they tempt me like this.

I like the foot straps idea too, much better than little kicks from certain little people all the time.

i'd posted about these the other day, super curious, right now only in the states though, but the stirrups SOO have me wondering if i can DIY something on the ergo! LOL! let us know what you think, i hear the 3g is bigger than the ergo but they look very similar otherwise. great reviews from what i could find at the time. great score on the price!

This website also has ergos a little cheaper, around $129 for the cheapest model (and free shipping on those) but the Boba says they are light, and they also have ellaroos for about $90. I saw the maya wrap RS there as well, but remember Mara saying they were a bit warm.

Depending on the material, Maya RS can be warm. A lot of them are a thicker cotton.
Ellaroos? Like their mei hip or mei tais?
After the BWing you've been doing I bet you'd find the Boba 2g to be comfortable! Good luck deciding. Smile
