I love how practical your BWing was Wendy, but it sounds so strange to us! lol
Well I do live in a ruralish area, we live in town, but five minutes drive away are farms and stuff. These people had planted bamboo as a wind break but hubby is in a building mood lately and wanted some to build stuff
Add in an hour I sh walk today through the Botanic gardens, most with either Ronin or another little one in the Bob a. The other little one was looking at it so i asked her if she wanted up and she jumped up for a go. Her mum was impressed and I am in the process of converting two people to baby wearing, one has asked me to help her with her rs once her baby is born in the next couple if weeks
Wore Aiden in the Beanslings MT for a few hours today as I went to a few used and discounted stores trying to find stuff for a play kitchen. No luck. But the kid got a nap and I was amazingly comfortable!
Wendy - that's fun when you can introduce BWing to someone!
Glad Aiden got a nap after the morning you had Jackie!
BW Livy at Walmart today. Hate that store, but needed some items I can't find other places. Might BW this afternoon depending on when they get up from nap. Need to run to the craft store. We'll see when DH gets home too, it's supposed to be between 3 and 4pm but I'm not holding my breath!
Yup, the lady who is due very soon will be flying internationally when bub is a few months old with a four year old so she will appreciate it.
Hey again! Well, Kong arrived, and I have been wearing Zintis in the RS quite a bit the last few days. I have actually been using my Maya, because although it was very warm a couple days after he was born, it has cooled way down again, so the thickness of the Maya is great right now. I washed my linen sling, so it should get softer...and I plan on getting around to wearing it more when it heats up again.
It's funny in general though...I am just such a fan of wearing- especially when baby is so tiny. I see parents lugging those carrier car seats around stores and stuff, having them taking up all the space in the cart, etc, while I just have my baby tucked up close to me, have both hands basically free and an empty cart... I just can't imagine NOT baby-wearing! :)
Awwww. YAY!!! Glad to hear you're doing a lot of slinging. :) Share a picture if you ever get the chance.
I wore Aiden today grocery shopping. Boring but effective.
Sounds great Mara!
expecting to wear a bunch tomorrow - prepping for E's birthday party on Saturday! :) can't believe he's almost 3!
