Okay, don't laugh too hard at me ladies. Poor baby girl (yep, found out I'm having a girl yesterday!) was not happy about being squished. I did a FWCC in a woven wrap for a carry of the week going on at TBW.
i loved my capsule, but I also had to take hubby to and from work alot so when I had a sleeping baby I could just pop the capsule in and out. He always wanted to nurse the second I stepped into a store so baby wearing saved me on the once I had healed enough. No wearing this week, but nwe are busy tomorrow looking for beds so may do some then
 Jackie--that looks like a nice, comfy seat for Aiden. Too bad there's somebody in there!
The Ergo was a GODSEND on our trip. The town we stayed in was so small that we just walked everywhere and the Ergo was the perfect tool for getting to the beach and back, etc. We also went on a few walk/hikes, and of course getting through the airport it was NECESSARY. We wore so much DH even managed to learn how to put her up in a back carry on his own! Woo!
It's sooooo gross and stinky now, though. It was so humid there and we kept putting a wet or damp kid in it, so it never really got dry and now--YIKES. Definitely going through the wash this afternoon! It's earned a little TLC!
awww, poor baby girl! Aiden doesn't look too thrilled either - was he getting kicked?!
That's great Leigh! We are taking a trip to Philadelphia this summer and I expect to BW a ton!
Right now Aiden can't feel baby girl's kicks. lol. She's not nearly as active as Aiden was at this point.
I wore Aiden in my mei tai today while shopping at an outlet mall. I wore him two different times and had to break them up with a stroller trip for an hour. Just can't wear all day like I used to! lol.
Leigh, I bet that was a god send!!!!
How's BWing going ladies?
Sorry I haven't been as active. I don't actually have MY computer and haven't for almost a month now!
But I did take and upload this photos from earlier this week. We've been doing lots of BWing recently as I've been shopping for Baby Girl stuff. Got most of the items I need now to start making her room decorations!
Honestly, I haven't worn at all since we got back from our trip. It's been hot so we haven't gone on any outdoor walks or adventures, and I haven't had a need--the only place we've gone where she can't just walk by herself is to stores with carts. And the cart issues we were having before (she was begging to sit in the back all the time) have been mostly fixed by a near-disaster DH had, when he let her sit in the back and the cart tipped over and dumped her out on her face in the parking lot! The damage was, fortunately, very minimal, and it actually had nothing to do with her sitting back there (it rolled off a curb when he turned his back for a second) but now when she asks to sit back there I can say "It's not safe! Remember when you fell over?" and her eyes get big and she says "I cried!" and then stops asking and sits nicely in the seat :D Silver lining!!
I'm not giving up my Ergo just yet, but I am thinking we're probably down to hiking/adventures (like if we go to a festival or big amusement park or something) at this point.
I haven't done much wearing either. Just to the grocery store. She's wanting to walk like her brother whenever we go to the zoo or a place like that. I've also been bringing the stroller to the zoo because it's too hot to wear her anyway. Yes, high 80's (with humidity) is too hot for me! LOL
 about 80s being too hot! I've decided I'm fine until it hits over 100 and then this kid is walking or using a stroller. :p
When I went home I brought a stroller with me and used it once and that was because I was having some light pains (probably due to the hours of BWing I'd done that whole week). I can't wear as long as I used to, but that just means I make my trips out of the house go faster. ;)
yeah, I know, I'm a wimp when it comes to heat! Then again, the humidity is in the 60% range so it feels like 100 degrees if that counts? Basically I'm already sweating before she's on and we start walking. Yuck!
I did wear at the grocery store today. She didn't like it much. I think the problem is her cast. It kind of limits her ability to move around when she's in the carrier. Poor baby! Only one more week until it comes off!
