I will give her snacks in the Ergo again when she stops thinking that dumping/smearing food everywhere is the most awesome activity ever. It's a phase she's been in the past few weeks--she used to eat very nicely out of bowls, but lately she takes one bite and then dumps it all over her tray/table/lap. Even things like soup and cereal with milk. It's really annoying. I was really glad I chose to put her in the stroller on Monday, because sure enough about five minutes in she dumped the baggie all over her lap and the floor. And shook it to make sure everything came out. And then cried for more to eat. EYE ROLL CITY. I don't let her eat in the car anymore either.
I do let her have her water bottle anywhere, but it's pretty leakproof
I wore DD today while making dinner & putting away stuff around the house.
I once gave DS strips of bell pepper while he was on my back (I was cooking dinner). When I unwrapped him a strip fell out. As the night wore on though, small chunks of bell pepper kept falling out of my shirt. It was a little weird. I don't feel him anymore, though I will give him a sippy!
I wore DS for most of today (in my elephant B'roo), but I was running around trying to get everything on my list in one day (which took 5 stores *sigh*). Found out yesterday that we're moving in 2 weeks. *gulp* I'm thinking there will be a lot of BWing as I pack up the apartment!
Oh man--good luck moving! That's FAST!
I wore DD tonight at the grocery store and again to help DH with dinner because she kept demanding to be picked up...funniest part is, while she was back there, I gave her a strip of bell pepper! What timing She ate a little bit and then dropped it on the floor, though, so I think I'm safe.
That's too funny about the bell pepper!
Well, we knew we were moving already (this is just a temp stop during the middle of our real, big move), but I thought I had 3-4 weeks left here. Suddenly I've got to be ready to drive across country in 13 days. And DH won't be any help at all until the last 2 days since he'll still be flying!
Gosh, I would never give Teagan food while BWing. It would be in my hair lickety-split! Teagan has lots of things she likes to do with food. Eating it falls pretty low on the list. I haven't BW in a few days. I was going to when we took our jaunt around the neighborhood this evening with the dogs but I thought she might like to walk so I left it. I wound up carrying her up on my shoulders most of the way. I guess it wasn't a walking day. Over the weekend, she walked all the way from a nearby arroyo back to the house. It's a good 0.3 miles! Crazy! It took awhile but she really wanted to do it all by herself.
