Thanks ladies! We managed to turn a 9.5 hour trip into 12.5 hours. Considering we had 2 cars, a uhaul trailer, a toddler, and a cat I would say that wasn't too bad. We're staying with the ILs for a few days and will then continue our trip east.
Only BWing I did last night and today was throwing Aiden up in my Bamberoo while packing the cars. lol. Hey, it worked at least!
Mara, that sucks that she didn't sleep but at least BWing allowed you to get your mopping done! I definitely find that I "wear out" sooner when doing chores while wearing as opposed to taking a walk or shopping. I have learned a few tricks that help me out.
Erin, that sounds like a lot of fun! I hope you're able to share a picture eventually.
Glad you made it to your first destination, at least An extra three hours with a toddler is definitely not bad at all!
I wore her at Ross yesterday (to buy some sunglasses AGAIN! Seriously...what the heck keeps happening to them?) but that was it. Still she managed to get too bored in line and have a little freakout, during which she clawed the heck out of my neck. Ugh! She's been really fragile the past couple of days, between her beloved grandma leaving and all the changes in routine, the surgery, etc. I will be very happy when things even out to normal again. (That's gonna be a while, though. Spring is nuts for us.) Lots of BW in the meantime...best to keep her close.
Hey girls thought I would join in since I am baby-wearing again!! My son is 11 days old today! Right now he is in the Moby and has been for the last 2 hours, just sleeping away. In that time I have swept the floor, fed my daughter lunch, gone to the bathroom and picked up the living room, oh and gone on the internet of course. I am so glad he is such a fan of the Moby as I love it!
Here is a pic from the other day

Hey, welcome Marcia! I can't believe Weston is already 11 days old...I was just waiting impatiently for you to go into labor and give us a good birth story yesterday, wasn't I? Glad it seems to be going so smoothly so far! Sounds like you got lucky with a great Moby baby
I'm sorry Adair has been "fragile", Leigh. I think after she's all better we need a moms' night out. Like, for REALZ. Jackie should fly out for a night on the town too! I'd invite you too, Mara, but I hope we'll be doing more drinking than is a appropriate for a preggo.
Welcome Marcia! Congrats on your LO! Adorable BWing pic! I also love the pics in your siggy. I don't read the birth lodges because they give me baby fever and I can't be having any of that right now. Did you have him at a birth center or at home? If that's at home, I'm jealous of your tub!
I actually don't normally read them these days either, but one day while bored and poking around I read about you running 3 miles a day while 40 weeks pregnant, I was shocked into following your story
Moms' Night Out: You're on! I have Guestapalooza 2012 happening right now, but...soon. For REALZ.
Welcome to the thread Marcia! And for showing us how little those of us wearing toddlers are accomplishing in comparison. J/k! Man, I wish I had worn Aiden more as a brand new newborn!
Ooooo...I need a drinking mom's night out! Especially after this move. *sigh* Wish I was closer!
Seriously, my FB status update yesterday: "If I wasn't pregnant, I'd be drunk." I need a ladies night out like no one's business.
Hey Marcia!!! I can't believe Weston is already 11 days old. Amazing how even when these little people come into the world, the days just keep going by as fast as they ever did. He is so cute in the Moby!!! I just don't think I will ever be able to wear a Moby because of how hot I get in them!
Fragile- is that the nice way call what my DD is going through right now too?
