Woo hoo Wendy! Glad to hear you got him up on your back by yourself!

Yesterday I wore Aiden while we were out shopping (Home Depot, Lowe's, and Target). I also wore him in a ring sling for part of our dinner at a restaurant. They didn't have a free high chair when we got there and these tables are higher than most so he couldn't really see over them to sit on a chair (we've done this before at other places). Put him in a hip carry in a ring sling and he was happy chewing on crackers till we got high chair a little before our food came out.

We went to the park today and took what ended up being a 2 milk walk to check out the "falls" here. I wore DS in my BBSlen wrap conversion ring sling.

Hey, I actually have something to post here today! DD was being suuuuuuuper whiny and clingy while I was trying to help DH with dinner, so I put her in a hip carry in the ring sling. She was happy, and I was still able to work. MAGIC! I'm keeping it handy....

Wow! Look at all this action on the BW thread! I love it!

We don't wear DD too often anymore either, just because she likes to walk or sit in a cart...but she definitely gets worn when we're on vacation and traveling. I would NEVER do an airport with a baby carrier!

We spent three weeks over Christmas/New Years traveling, and DD was in the Ergo pretty much every day- whether as we walked around site-seeing, at airports or whatever.

I have to say, now that I am pregnant, I am having trouble wearing the Ergo anymore. To feel secure I have to have it a certain tightness around my hips- and I wear it as low as I can, but, for some reason, every time I did this while on vacation, I ended up with stomach aches/having to poop! Does that even make sense?

I think SSCs are hit or miss if they work during pregnancy like I mentioned in the other thread you started. I'm sure the short body of the Ergo doesn't help at all either. I bet the webbing is bothering your lower stomach. That Ergo webbing shows off allllllllll of my belly fat.

Leigh, I think it's great that your ring sling has new life for y'all now!

I didn't do any BWing yesterday! *gasp* lol

Why do I not know what you are referring to when you speak of the "Ergo webbing"? My Ergo has a strap that goes around the belly (when she's on my back), but it's just a strap... like a seat belt almost. It does make my fat hang over the top- even pregnant, it just makes me look fat... but... I would never call it webbing. I'm wondering if my Ergo is old, and the new ones have something mine doesn't?

    Strange BWing lingo.

Leigh- I have such a hard time imagining Adair being whiny or clingy. She's such a happy camper every time I see her!

See my signature pic? Imagine that going: "Up. UP! Mama! MAMA! UP!!! MAMA!!! MAMAMAMAMA!!!! UUUUUUUUUUPPPPP!!!"

Generally when dinner or snacks are running on the late side. Wonder where she got THAT from...

Dinner time recently has become the one time of day that I have to wear Aiden! This kid signs food and doesn't get that I just can't make it immediately appear at the table.
I spent an hour practicing my back wrapping skills (and failing miserably) before switching to my elephant B'roo to cook dinner. Since I spent an hour messing with the wrap, dinner was an hour later. lol

I plan to wear DS as we walk to check out a park in a neighborhood near us later today. Might use the Ergo so I can use the zipper pouch to store my keys. I keep meaning to get something that I can use with the rest of my carriers when I don't need a purse.
