Boy do I hear you on dinner impatience! Adair is a crazy food fiend from about the moment she wakes up from nap until I sit down in front of a plate of food. Then of course she wants to be all done and play with me.
I have my keys on a big ring that clicks open (DH calls them my jailer's keys)--any big carabiner will do, though. Just clip it around a strap, or a belt loop.
Tried that a couple of time and it drove me nuts them just jingling around on my leg or shoulder! lol. It's been awhile though, so maybe it won't drive me as nuts? But then what about my cell phone? I'm kinda attached to it.
I decided on my walk back from the park that I like my B'roo a lot more than my Ergo now and that the Ergo can just be DH's carrier and we can keep it sized for him. The Ergo is comfortable, just not as dreamily comfortable as my B'roo.
Wore DD today while making dinner - tacos! Also cleaned up random things while the meat was cooking. Normally DS distracts DD while dinner is cooking, but DS was at the grocery store with DH so DD was really bored! No way I could have gotten dinner on the table without wearing her!![]()

I tried to visit shops up town but no matter how hard I tried I could not get him in the mei tei on my back right, It doesn't help we have limited off street parking here and of course none at all near the stores I wanted to visit
Wore Aiden at Target today after Stroller Strides! He even napped for most of the trip.
Wendy, I wish I could help you with back carries. It took me lots and lots of practice.
Yeah, back carries take tons of trying it over and over and over until you get comfortable!
Yesterday I wore DD at the grocery store.
Today we danced in the carrier! She loves to dance around with me and I normally just hold her and dance around, but my wrists have been bothering me so I put her in the carrier and danced for much longer so we had a blast!

I wore Teagan yesterday while leading a group of PhD recruits around campus. I told them she was the only person they needed to impress in order to be accepted to the program.![]()
Mel that sounds like so much fun!!!
Erin, now THAT is what I call multitasking!!!!
I didn't do any baby wearing today - but DH did! He wore Aiden in our Ergo while we wasted time at the mall.
ETA: Y'all notice how high the carrier goes on Adien in this picture. It's a great reminder of how wearing SSCs lower allows the kid to get a deeper seat, so in reverse if the waist is higher the carrier doesn't come up as much. I wear my SSC waists pretty low compared to many, but Aiden is EASILY arms out when I wear the Ergo. DH has a VERY long torso and Aiden is definitely not arms out.![]()
