I like the sakura bloom videos on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/sakurabloombabysling/videos
    Lots of ones with newborns/babies!

If you end up with a specific question, Beccasweet loves her ring slings and uses them more than any other carrier. Her DD is currently 4 months. I didn't start using a RS with DS till 3ish months.

Wore Aiden in my blue woven again this morning. I wore him to walk to the other side of the neighborhood for a Le Leche League meeting. I'm experimenting with different ways to tie off a ruck back carry. So far I've found one new way that I never want to use again (tied under his bum).

yay for spreading the bw'ing love!!! hope your coworker loves it!
jackie looking good! i was never a fan of the under bum ties unless it was just the extra tail getting tied out of the way.

jade insisted on being on 'mommy's tummy' today for playgroup walk, so that was interesting, i couldn't think short notice how to do up the chest strap and didn't want someone else to be readjusting it so i just suffered with falling straps (thankfully only a ten minute walk!) and she walked home! found out my playgroup mommy is preg again!! due dec and has a snugly so i might be sharing any tips i can think of for her, 3 1/2 (by due date) and a new born with a working dh i think bw would be a good thing!! might have to see if she wants to go to my fav store and try some out! also i really should look into a local bw group again, the last time i looked it wasn't that nice to go to, the ladies i met were all 'i know this listen close and follow what i say or i'm talking to you again' which is a real shame since they did seem to know what they were doing, just too opinionated for my likes.

haven't posted in awhile on here, but jumping back in! Mara - there is a BWing group in my area that I've never been to because they only meet like twice a year! crazy right? I do wish there was one that met more often you know!

Not as much BWing because DD has decided she wants to walk everywhere lately. Did wear her on Tuesday at the store. She's even helping "cook" dinner lately too! LOL

Most local people know, but since I really haven't met anyone other than DH's classmates and the moms at the CD group and LLL chapter here it's not many that know. lol. I know if I lived back home I'd be totally out, but since none of them ever see me it's easy to keep this quiet. I'll announce on FB after my appt next week. Just wanna make sure I've got a good 13 week appt first. I don't really want to untell former coworkers, distant relatives, etc.

Glad y'all both have done some toddler wearing recently! I've really liked the one BWing meeting I went to here. I really want to attend one of the Babywearing International (BWI) meetings sometime. I know they're a bit different and have more structure to them than just informal groups (what's here locally). They also typically only teach best practices and the leaders have to be Babywearing Educators (so have certifications, attended classes, etc). There's a BWI group an hour west and another an hour south of here. The nice part is at least you know you're getting up to date information from a meeting and these people are truly dedicated to safe BWing.

Oh that is true...it's totally doable when you're not living in the same place as almost everyone you know. My BFF has her 20 week u/s tomorrow and is still not out on FB! But I did already get her to buy an Ergo priorities!

Okay, no BW news to report, but I just have to share that my friend had that u/s this morning and it is a GIRL!!!!! I am so excited...hand-me-down city I can't decide whether to give her my Maya but honestly I almost NEVER use it anymore, and by the end of September...yeah, it's probably safe to pass on. It's honestly hard for me to think of giving up, though, it was such a part of me for so long! But...if we ever did decide to have another baby, I guess it would be a good excuse to shop for a new RS anyway, right? Maybe a nice light linen? ...Okay, sold.
