FWCC in my woven wrap earlier while I made lunch. I folded the straps at my shoulder oddly for the carry since it was trying to bunch at my neck. I'm sure it's due to the fact that I had Aiden low in the carry since I needed to be able to see easily over him for cutting the fruit and making his sandwich.
Definitely more BWing this afternoon. Gotta hit up the commissary that I never made yesterday!
I keep hoping Aiden says up. Most times when I ask him if he wants to go up, he'll come running over to me all excited. At least he understands me!
Cute pic! That's a really pretty wrap.
Tonight DD was F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G O-U-T while I was trying to clean the kitchen and cook dinner, and nothing DH could do would distract her from screaming for me. So I put her in the Ergo and voila! Happy baby, happy mom. I'm so glad you started this board back up, it's been really inspiring...
Isn't it funny how sometimes we forget that BWing can be done at home too? I know I often considered it a more out of the house thing- in place of a stroller- thing. But it can be so useful at home too! I know I used to mop the floor while wearing DD on my back, because sometimes, when she was napping, I wanted to rest too, not work. But mopping a floor with a baby crawling or running around is just NOT an option.

I have to wear DS when I vacuum otherwise he chases the vacuum around and it takes forever.
Glad that this thread is inspiring!
I also wore DS today at the commissary in my elephant B'roo and again at a BFing playgroup in my SBP BBSlen RS.
Leigh, I love the wrap which is why I chose it. But apparently it's a bad beginner wrap when it's brand new. And of course I bought it new and I'm getting frustrated at times. Go me.
And out! I drug DS to Kohl's and Target after Stroller Strides this morning. Wore him in my B'roo. Of course. lol
Hoping to practice with my wrap this afternoon after he wakes up from his nap.
I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!
First back carry out of the house with zero help!
I got him in a good double hammock back carry in the house. I was able to put away clean dishes and put dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Then I got the bright idea to take him to the park! Which meant I had to get him back up when he was done playing. Thankfully there was only one other parent there and that person wouldn't have a clue if I was doing it right or not. Ha ha.
You're making me want a woven wrap. DH wouldn't be pleased . It's really pretty and looks super versatile. I love Aiden's glare peeking over the wrap in the bottom left park pic.
HIGH learning curve compared to other carriers IMO, but yes very versatile. I now know 2 back carries and two front carries, though I pretty much only do one of the back carries and one of the front carries. I keep meaning to update the all about wrapping thread with more links to carries. I have about 20 more!
