    Default the flu

Poor Madison tested positive for the flu. High fevers that don't respond to medication, refusing to eat/drink, very painful headache and sore eyes, stuffy nose and sneezing......

I don't typically take my kids to the doc for what I think is a virus but this was different. Madison's fever wouldn't break, even alternating Tylenol and Motrin. She couldn't sleep more than 20-30 minutes at a time, and was crying out every time she had to move. I really didn't think it was the flu, just a nasty sinus infection. But nope.

So hopefully the Tamiflu will help. And hopefully Alana doesn't come down with the flu as well.

Well.....both girls seem to be mostly better, but now my poor hubby has the flu. This thing is awful! Apparently I've already had it at some point because I seem to be in the clear. Madi still has a lingering sore throat and stuffy nose but that seems to be the norm for her lately. She has a repeat sleep study tonight and a March appointment with the Pulmo so we can discuss that then I guess.
