Thread: Have next surgery date

Claire's next bilateral sting is booked for Oct 28. The urologist thinks the reason she keeps getting infections is that the gel injected during the first surgery has shrunk a bit, creating openings in her ureters allowing urine to get back up there again. He says it happens in about 20% of sting procedures.

This time DH is coming with me. No way I'm handling her on my own after she come out of the anaesthesia! Last time she nearly gave me a black eye!

At least this time you know what to expect so you can prepare more. I know the nerves will get worse as you approach the date. Prayers for you all as get ready in the next 6 weeks.

He's doing pretty well, thanks Tanya. He coughs a fair bit every morning though, even with the Singulair. I might have to start giving him the FloVent every morning. I sure hope he grows out of this.
