I'm glad I could help
When we found out that Tom was going to be born with a cleft lip I just poured over pictures trying to figure out what to expect, how "normal" he'd look as he grew, etc.

Hi, I'm new here as well. My daughter (Alexa) is 16 months and in occupational therapy to help with sensory issues and low muscle tone. She was a little late to roll, sit up, crawl, etc. OT really helped her (she started at 9 months). In her case it was sensory issues in her hands and just not being aware of where her body was in space that caused some of her delays. She also has issues with constipation and has seen a G.I. specialist to try and sort things out. She's doing much better, just needs to refine her skills. I totally get what you mean about other people not "getting it". It's hard to have to try and explain things on a regular basis to friends who aren't experiencing similiar struggles. Best of luck to you and your family.
