(((Hugs))) I can't even imagine how you are feeling. PO'd doesn't even come close to describing how I would feel.

OMG I don't know if I will be able to look at that nurse when we go in the am! I forgot to put in the blog that when I called from the pedi's office she said to me "Oh I was going to return your call within the month" I was like WTF (I may have even said that to her) I said I talked to Dr Adamo and he said he wanted to see him in 2 weeks and that was a week ago already so I need him seen this week or at the longest next week!!" She was like well thats close. Well yea that's why she should have called me back last week, GURRRR. So I was like now it is not just him that wants the baby seen I am sitting in the pedi's office and they are telling me he needs to be seen NOW. She then had the nerve to say "Oh why, has something changed?" No jerk I took him to the pedi for fun, is what I wanted to say! I said "yes the pedi thinks he is having headaches and his balance and reflexes are all off" TO that she was like Oh I'll get him in let me look at what the Dr has open. Then she was like I have a 10:15 on friday if you want it. Why would I not want it???

Thanks for letting me vent. The Dr is awesome but having to deal with his nurse sucks!! I was told she is lots prego and a little scattred by a few other parents, when they have had to deal with her this month also. Ok I have prego brain also but come on if you can't do your job and kids lives are in your hands, your a Nero S's nurse then go on leave early!!!

Vent away girl! Prego brain is one thing, but putting kids lives in jeopardy because you can't function is a whole other thing. I totally agree she needs to go on leave. I'm sorry. I am glad you are getting him in though.

I'm sorry you've had to wait so long to have him seen. That is definitely unacceptable. I've been known to "fire" a doctor if he won't see my kids in a timely manner. Apnea is very scary and I know what kind of stress you are under. I hope you get some good news at the next appointment. Keep us posted!

My FB update yesterday was: Still on the fence on if the surgery is worth the risks. So I asked him if we did more testing would that give us any more info. Heath's last MRI was in Nov and was to rule out a twisted neck. Now that we know he has Chiari I asked him to do the CSF MRI, and a full spine to look for a syrinx or teathered cord. He said that yes we should do that ASAP and I should hear in the next two weeks when that is going to be.
