My Girls' Dance Competition
The girls had their first dance competition of the season last weekend and it went really well. This is Madi's first year competing and she loved every second of it. She somewhat stole the show in her dance because lets just say she was really working it, lol. She definitely isn't shy on stage! Her group won 2nd place and Madi was ecstatic. She got to go up and receive the plaque and even talk in the microphone which is a huge deal when you're 4.
Alana's solo won 3rd and so did her trio so I'm very proud of her. Her solo is a beautiful lyrical to Celine Dion's Brahm's Lullaby and she just looked gorgeous on stage. She's unsure of the dance because lyrical isn't exactly her style (she prefers fast songs where she can tumble) so I was super proud with how well she did. She's been feeling fairly well lately, even with the cold that we all caught, so I'm extremely grateful for that.
Their dance team could really use some help from everyone with a Facebook account. The older girls on her team won 1st in their division and are now up for a $5000 scholarship for Nationals. This would benefit the entire team so we're all working hard to get votes. All you have to do is LIKE the Showbiz National Talent Facebook Page, then scroll and find the Lakeland competition poll. Please vote for #5 "That's Not My Name" from Tammy's Dance Company. Her team is in the lead right now and we'd like to keep it that way! Please just take a few minutes to vote and the girls would really appreciate it. It would be a huge honor for their studio to win. Thanks!
