Oh yay! Thanks for starting this. I'm so excited to be in the final part of this journey, and a little sad as this is most likely my last kiddo. I'll have to write my intro now. brb

DH and I are techniquely HS sweethearts, though we didn't start dating till he was a HS grad and I was heading into my senior year. However we'd known eachother since my freshman year. Our story is strange in that we knew we'd marry before we offically started dating, it felt like we did things a bit backwards. Still we finally married 4 years after I'd graduated HS. DH had joined the Air Force about 4 months before we were married and we spent the honeymoon intergrating me into the military system. I know a 'dream' honeymoon, lol. Afterwards we were stationed to Misawa Japan. A year later DH said he wanted to start trying for kids which I was on board with since I'd been ready from day 1. After what was a long wait for us (a year exactly) we finally got a BFP. Then in March DS Logan was born via c-section.

Here's Logan's birth story how I wrote it when he was born.

I had been feeling lower abdominal cramps all day and kept thinking that my pants were just starting to get too tight and were pinching me. Yeah right. At around 3:30 in the afternoon I realized that they were pretty close together so I started to time them. They were about 5 mins apart. At 4:30 I talked to DH and told him we might be at the hospital later that evening and asked him if he could buy me some orange push pop-ups on the way home, who knows what I was thinking. After he got home we thought we would go walking to see if anything might happen, but we decided to call L&D first to make sure they didn’t want us to come in. Of course, they did want us and off we went, taking our bags, just in case. Upon arriving, at 6, I was all hooked up and checked out. I was having contractions about 5 mins apart, was 3 cm and 80% effaced. They send us away to walk for two hours. Upon returning there was no progress, so after some questioning they determined that my body was hungry and that was why I was contracting so much and they fed me. When we arrived at home I tried to sleep, as they had given me some benedryl., but I couldn’t. Instead I took a bath, which did nothing to help. Finally I gave up and walked around the house and ate some cheerios. At around 2 DH got up and called L&D. The nurse heard me groaning in the background and told us to come in immediately. After being checked we were admitted at 2:20 am, being 4.5 cm and 80%. She said my water bag was so flimsy that it should break any minute. Around 6 my doc came in to check me to find me 8 cm and 100%. When she was done with the internal she thought she saw some miconium on her gloves and decided to break my water (apparently there was a little leak). 30 mins later I was asking for an epi. After that I was able to sleep. Two hours later I was checked, but had stopped making progress, so it was pitocin for me. 30 mins later I was ready to push and two hours after that I was headed to the OR for a c-section. I had been given the option to push another hour or just have the surgery, but I knew his head was stuck, they’d already told me it would be a really tight fit.
Upon getting to the OR I was shaking so bad first due to the cold room I had been in with the A/C coming down right on me and then going to the OR, so they gave me more drugs and lots of heating blankets. Here is where I pretty much pass out, as I was tired and still had the urge to push. Since I wanted to keep my insides inside I thought I’d go to sleep. That scared the crap out of DH and I remember him telling me to keeping moving my finger so he would know that I was ok. At 1043 Logan arrived on scene not breathing. Another scary episode for DH, now doubly freaked out. Poor guy. Soon Logan was breathing and I was stitched up. I remember them telling me, “Here’s your son” but I was too doped up to care.
Once in the recovery room I was able to wake up enough to glance at some photos of Logan. I was joking with DH on how dark he looked to me and that he must have taken the rest of our Indian blood from us. Well, it turned out that that was a symptom of something wrong with him. His blood was twice as thick as it should have been, which kept making his blood sugar drop, so he was kept in the nursery for observation for 12 hours. I was able to go and breast feed him there and by 2 am Sunday he was rooming in with us and were told we could probably go home Tuesday morning. However, he did so well that we were discharged Monday afternoon

Then in Nov'08 we decided to try for #2. Again, it took us a year to get a bfp. The pregnancy went great up till our 20 week u/s where the tech found an abnomlity in her stomach. After more scans we were told that one of her kidneys had multiple cysts and was most likely dead. The worse part was not knowing the cause. If was a blockage it was ok, as the cysts would not spread. If it were something else it could travel to the other kidney. It was determined to be the first, thankfully. So on went the pregnancy with much worry about her future. I was really hoping to vbac with her, but as u/s continued her stomach starting growing and it soon surpassed her head circum' and the docs were worried about her becoming stuck so we ended up scheduling a c-sec. I tried my hardest to come to terms with this but never really could. I just had/have to tell myself that it was necessary for her safety and that it was all for her benefit. Still it did nothing to change things. She came out in an undesired way with a desired outcome, safe. Today she is a happy almost toddler and a very sassy little girl.

    Names: Logan- DS
    Bobby- DH
    Aletha- MIL

    Here's our story:

I woke up at 4am (30 mins before I was to call l&d to see if all was still go) and decided to call a little early since I was feeling up. The nurse that answered told us to come in between 0530-0600 and I told her I was told to come at around 10, so she said come in at 10. Being a worry wart I convinced myself and Bobbby to just go ahead in just in case, I mean they can always just send us home, I just didn't want to get bounced. So in we went and out we were sent, told to come back at 10. So we got home and just spent the morning playing with Logan since we wouldn't see much of him for the next 2 days. 0900 rolled around and we decided to take Aletha (MIL) to the base to show her Bobby's work place. Finally we were headed towards the hospital and there were no parking places so Bobby dropped me off at the door and I grabbed Logan while Aletha and Bobby went to park the cars. Looking at the time I realized I needed to start heading up to check in so I called Bobby and told him we'd be in L&D waiting for them. So up we went and got checked in, soon followed by the rest of the gang. I took them about 2 hours to get us back, in the meantime I had an NST and some blood drawn. While hooked up to the NST I found out that what I thought was Rya aggrivating my hips were actually contractions and they soon started to pick up in frequency and intensity. Once they took me back I was having to really concentrate through them, so I'm guessing c-sec or not Rya was coming that day (or at least soon). It took the anestesiologist a few tries to get the epi in (I think I got a trainie) but finally my right leg went numb and while I started panicing thinking it was only going to be good for 1/2 of me, my other leg soon followed. Finally Bobby was shown in and we were ready to get started. It was so much different from Logan's birth. This time I was awake and able to talk to Bobby and others while being worked on. Finally the time came for Rya to be "born". Unlike her brother she came out crying which was a blessed relief to her father and I. They held her up for me to briefly see and away she went to get cleaned up. It seemed to take forever for her to get back to me, but she finally did and I got to see her, better yet, this time I was able to remember seeing her. And in too short of a time off she went again. I don't remember much after this, I think I ended up going to sleep.

Finally I was wheeled back to the recovery room and though I'm not sure how much time passed in there, but not long after waking up in came Bobby, Logan, Aletha and baby.

Rya was 7lbs 10 oz, 19.5 inches long. Her apgar scores were 8 & 9 (I think) and all was well. Apparently she peed and pooped first thing when she got out, so they were happy about that.

While in the hospital they took her for an u/s and a dye contrast test, both of which confirmed the bad kidney and showed the other kidney was 100% fine and the bladder was working perfectly, so great news all in all. We'll be heading back in a month to talk to the kidney doc and see what all is going to happen next.

Nursing is going well so far. Rya is slightly tongue tied and I can't decided if it is her or her tongue, but her latches always hurt. Right now she is favoring my right boobie so I've been pumping my left which is going well as a routine. The docs are concerned a little with her weight loss and she lost almost a whole pound before we left but now that my milk is in I'm sure she'll gain it back in no time.

Big brother Logan is in love with his sister. He loves coming up to give her hugs, touch her nose and hold her. Its always so cute.

Unfortunetly I don't have any pics from her birth as our last comp had what I thought was virus and when I learned otherwise it was too late to get the pics. I'm hoping to get them one day, probably after this comp starts dying and I can risk fixing the previous hard drive.
So I'll give a few of her older pics:

    And now for #3.
About when Rya was 6 months DH was deployed to Djbouti Africa for 7 months. Somehow we all made it through and DH returned to us, ironically and thankfully, on our 6th wedding anniversary. 2 weeks later we found out we were pregnant I had suspected it due to eating a bit unusually and cramping when exercising, but DH was floored. Considering it took a year trying for our first 2 each time we were shocked that we had a semi accident in just 2 weeks, lol.
Thankfully this pregnancy has been uneventful. Baby's been growing well, never having a problem or cause for worry.
The biggest issue is my choice for delivery, vba2c.

I think I'll leave it there for now as I've posted way too much tonight. Thank goodness for saved lodges as that made it much easier to post all this, though harder for other to read I'm sure.

So just got a call from the OB's office to meet with high risk OB. Basically it'll be to talk me out of a vba2c, so being the annoying complicated person I am I couldn't match up any appt times till 13 May, lol. They tried for the 4th, but I already have an appt that day. The interesting thing is that I didnt' know that May had a Friday the 13th so now I'm torn on when I want baby. Both of my other two were born with the same month/day (DS-3/3; DD 7/7) so I was hoping for 5/5 with this one, but now I'm thinking the 13th would be pretty cool as well. Still here's hoping I go into labor that day or before.
