You are getting close. Hang in there! You have a really great attitude.
In the immortal words of Oprah (and oft-repeated by The Soup): My va-jay-jay's painin'!
I'm not usually one to complain (much) but today the pain and pressure are kicking into high gear. I don't know if I overdid it yesterday w/the shopping and being on my feet, or if I just didn't get enough sleep, but today I'm walking around like I'm 80. I feel every step in my pelvis/cervix, and my belly is very achy. When I'm sitting, I'm fine, but as soon as I get up and walk around it hurts. I have to go slow and sometimes actually hold my belly--classic, huh?
Maybe something is happening--baby descending finally? I have been sitting on the birth ball a lot more. In our old house we used it as a computer desk chair, and had an open downstairs floorplan so it was always accessible. New house has multiple separate rooms downstairs with steps up and down between them, so I find myself rolling that silly ball from kitchen to LR to den to bathroom (I sit on it when I dry my hair, do my makeup, and bathe DD.)
OOH! Hurtin' va-jay-jay is a good sign! I'm sure I read about that in TWG or WTEWYE
Ohhh, I'm more excited about your appt than mine this week, I think. And that's really weird to be excited about the state of someone else's cervix. Especially when it's someone you've never met.
OK I need to spend more time on my birth ball. I've only been doing 10-15 min per night. Hmmm...
And 40+3 is the average for STM, huh? Very interesting that docs around here start talking induction before you even hit your EDD. I swear Anyway, I'm thinking you'll go before your EDD if not on it. Yipee!!!!
