(TMI) So I wake up around 4:30 am to go to the bathroom and all of the sudden I get the urge to go. It was all watery and the stomach pain kept on going until I fell asleep around 5:30 am. It was even giving me goosebumps.
DH got out of work at 4:00 am and the car would not start. I was so upset, because he knows better than to leave the car on, to plug his phone to charge almost all night. So he was suppost to be home by 4:30 am but didn't get anyone to help him jump start the car until 5:00am....that is why I was up worried and waiting for him until around 5:30 am with my stomach ache. Oh, and have I mentioned that this isn't the first time it happens
I was able to go back to sleep, but now that I am awake I have been having the same uncomfortable stomach ache. I think something I ate may have done me wrong.
On another subject....I got on the scale yesterday night and it read 192 lbs!!!! How do you go from 186 on Monday to 192 on Sunday. I know it can be signs of water retention and too much swelling, but it is alot. Today I have my 37 wk appt, so I hope the Dr is able to help me.
Were you weighed on the same scale? If not, it could be scale differences. Also, there are sometimes weight fluctuations based on how much you've eaten around the time you weigh yourself, what clothes you're wearing, etc. If you really are experiencing sudden weight gain, it could be swelling/water retention. It's not a big deal if you don't have other symptoms of pre-e, but if you have protein in your urine or high blood pressure at your appointment today, your doctor will probably be very concerned about that. I hope all is well!

Welcome to your lodge! I can't wait to share the natural birth journey with another July mama!
It takes 12 pounds of grain and 2500 gallons of water to produce ONE POUND of beef.

My 37 wk appt was just ok. I was a bit upset that the Dr was in a rush (got called to deliver a baby), so I didn't get to ask any questions. I was so swollen!!! It was insane how huge my feet were, plus my BP was a little high. I gained 4 lbs since last weeks appt. I'm a bit worried about pre-e now, I'll ask next time. My fundal height is 38 cm; he always reminds me that I have a big belly as if I could control it. The baby is looking great, but still breech. His HR was around 143. The only great things about the appt was the baby being good and that my group b test came back negative.
Today I am feeling a bit low. I don't know why. I even started crying for no reason, and still feel like it. Must be all the hormones going crazy.
The negative gbs result is good news. Make sure you relax a lot, drink plenty of water and make sure you're eating enough protein. That should help with the swelling and blood pressure.
Drinking lots of water should help with the fluid.
Aww, Aurora, I'm sorry that the baby is still breech, that the dr was in a rush, and that you're so swollen. I'm glad the GBS test came out negative, though! I agree with the other ladies -- drink plenty of water, that should help with the fluid retention, and also it'll give you lots of amniotic fluid to provide room for the baby to turn. I don't blame you for being down -- late pregnancy's a hard time, and a not-so-stellar appointment is a big bummer. Here's hoping next week's appt is better!
