Woah! My first lodge! Thank you! I'm still rooting for at least 4 more weeks but I am only about 2.5 weeks from where I delivered my previous two so anything could happen.
I had an appt on Thursday but there wasn't too much new information since I declined an exam but I'll be getting my GBS test done at my next appt (the 27th) and I assume she'll probably check my cervix at that point too. I had a new midwife at that appointment, and she seemed extra cautious, moreso than my previous one. Not sure if that is a good thing or not, I kind of liked the laid back attitude of my other midwife but I do understand being worried. My 'perfect' birth is not going to happen if I go early again and since this is my last I really want it to be perfect if possible. I did find out at my appointment that our hospital's birth tub is to be installed by the end of December, so I'm crossing my fingers it's in when I give birth, whenever that is (though I can't deliver at my hospital unless I'm 36 weeks, I'll have to go to their 'sister' hospital that has a NICU). My dream birth would be a water birth, I love water and baths and it would just be perfect for me.

I'll have to do an intro later on tonight when my dh is home

Welcome to your lodge! I, too, am sending lots of good thoughts that things go as you hope for and you get that water birth! They are just so neat!
