I'm excited for your lodge! Welcome mama!
Mama to 7 curious, wild & wonderful little ones ♥
Hey thanks everyone! What a nice surprise.
The best news I have to share is that I'm GBS negative! So I'll be able to labor as long as I want at home, no worry about getting antibiotics!
Yay for GBS negative! How are you feeling?
Physically I feel fine, I have some swelling in my feet, but that's more weather-related (and the fact that our A/C has been out of commission for the last 3 weeks, new one being installed on Thursday, which is a guarantee that I'll go into labor Wednesday night...) than a sign of anything.
I haven't had contractions recently, a bunch last week, but none this past weekend. I think he knew he was banned from coming on May 30 or 31st. Thomas was born in May, and I really didn't want this one to share a birth month with him. Thomas as the middle child will have so few things that belong to him alone, so I wanted his birth month to be his. Now that June is here, this baby is welcome to come anytime!
The only hold up is a name. We're stuck on a few -- none that really grab us. It's different because I've always had baby names just a little while after we found out the gender. I guess it gets harder with each boy as we've used up our favorites!
My ideal birth date is June 7th, as that would make my kids have the dates of 5-6-7-8. (though not in that order)
Thomas, some people feel the middle of the sandwich is the best part!![]()

I am so excited for you, Janel!!!And I totally "get" not wanting your kids to share a birth month. I really wanted Tiven to be born in June, not a single family member on either side has a June birthday. And with Weston, I was actually quite relieved when August 1st rolled around so we didn't have me, Tiven, and him all born in July.

Rest in peace, Martin.
